i’m not entriely sure of this, but i’ve read somewhere that shields add your con to your block rate … not sure if for every class tough… but should that be true, some tank with a block rate 2 shield and 200 con should have extra 400 block.
The formula is a bit different for swordies (in a good way), but yeah if you have a shield it adds con to your block.
I think someone linked that mechanics pdf somewhere, it has the block formula in it.
