You are using a laptop, first off, go on the Nvidia Control Painel and go on Manage 3D settings, there, you will see the follow image:

Set it to High-performance NVIDIA processor and click in apply.

After that go on the game folder (Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release\patch\DirectX10) and install it.

If you still have problem, on the tab Program Settings (on the same screen of the image above) add the game client in the list and set it High-performance NVIDIA processor and click in apply, this may force the game use the Nvidia GPU instead of the integrated intel one.

try change your resolution width height to your native resolution instead of 100%

thanks, i set my nvidia already and i cant install directx like you told me,
but i will find the way to install the directx10

nothing changes, still got the same error, my native resolution 1366 x 766
and the error message still pop up…

thanks for the reply

well… weird, this guy over here fixed it by himself

alright, maybe i should just re instal my windows…
this is getting frustating…

Before you go to extreme, just go on the game folder (Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release) and delete the file user.xml and try start the game to see if it fix.

after i delete it, it doesnt auto replace the missing file,
and i got the same pop up again…

It should recreate the file when you start the game.

By the way, you have updated your drivers right?

Edit:

I found this on CS:GO discussion board on Steam:

Try it to see if it solve.

Edit 2: (Gonna add one more thing here just to avoid unnecessary spam)
The follow quote is from Toms Guide someone with the same problem there, check if you can do the same.

Hi guys, after hours of trial and error, i think i’ve finally figured it out. I’m not much of a tech guy, so i can really explain it, but the fix ix quite simple. All you have to do, is open Control Panel --> Device manager --> Display adapters, and the right click on the primary intel GPU, and disable it. was an immediate fix for me. cheers =]

yes, by logic it should recreate the file, but it doesn’t
because i try to delete the other file, and after i patch it got replaced,
but not the user.xml file

thanks i will try this first after works,

Maybe because i’m using pc, not laptop ?

@angsudi try to delete user.xml and use steam to repair it (verify integrity of game cache) hope it can help you

big thanks guys for the reply,

i try to delete everything include cache,
and reinstall the game… now it fixed…
