Something like this should have been front page news: Kim Hakkyu's Letter to the Community Discussion

Dota 2 is made by Valve.
Steam is owned by Valve.
See the similarity here?

Also, pretty much most new mmo is trying to get on steam, also dying mmos too. Since Steam have quite a decent amount of market share of gamers.

The negativity i think that affect people lol

I actually believe its come from a certain country no racist here but some country only face a bad thing its in their blood to only said the bad thing

This forum consist of but not limited to: Whiners(thats their life), wanna be developers, self styled developer but failed to make his own game and wanted to share his stupid idea that got rejected from somewhere else, attention seeker (like the OP), neckbeard who still lives with his parents, jobless parasites, hackers, people paid by hackers, below average IQ who thinks the world revolves around him.

Community manger Julie absorbed all of that kind people. You dont have to be a genius to figure out that the best thing to do is just leave this game and live in a more peaceful life away from this forum. It is also no wonder why the person who took her place decided to not to communicate at all for the fact youre just going to drink a poison if you have done it.

I’m glad Mr. Hakkyu is communicating with us and acknowledges the complaints we have with this game. It does seem like a bunch of excuses, but I’m willing to forgive.

This isn’t as bad as another game company I had been following for a couple years… they had so many issues and they kept making the same mistakes over and over with the same excuses, and then they started blaming the playerbase for having too high expectations AFTER they kept saying they would do a lot of stuff that they never followed through with, time and time again. That’s a slap in the face, and I hope not to see that happen here.

Reads more like a personal reply rather than damage control to me, for the most part. I’m just glad that IMC is still browsing the forums, regardless of how much of a cesspool it’s become.

So basicly he say , we are doing a good job and i dont see any problem here. Sadly looks like imc just not willing to fix the big problem.imc it sellf.

Sorry but in the real world its not work like this. If a small company ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  up they are dead.
Say we are sory is good. But if there is no fsst fix then the sorry is not good.its not fixing the problem sadly.
I hope imc can fix ā– ā– ā– ā–  soon .

Hahaha~
I know you think you know what you’re talking about but you don’t really.
When companies ā– ā– ā– ā–  up they can fix it as long as it’s not a major ā– ā– ā– ā–  up.

My comment was based on real life experience within the game publishing industry. I know what I’m talking about. lol

A shed of light to the community but how far he’s willing to take it?

They do make a bold move by going international in such a haste (perhaps that was the community fault as well since we demand for an early release) but there’s no turning back now. They could either hire more people to watch each server/regions so the work load can be divided, or just switch back to a single server which I’m sure most of you won’t like it, or gave it to a publisher as a last resort. Maintaining something this big ain’t easy. True IMC is not as big as Valve, Blizzard, EA and other big company tycoons but should that be an excuse to the problems that we had right now?

They need to focus on the big issue here which if what Mr. Kim said is true about fixing optimization, lags, and other issues, then most likely the game will continue to survive. Botters, goldsellers and other crap can be put aside for the moment (but it’s still on the list) once the stability been fixed. Once that is done, they could take the server off for a day or two to weed out all the bots/goldsellers. Remember Runescape Nuke Day? May or may not work but that depends on IMC to determine which option is the best…even though the restriction option they made is a minus already. Isn’t there a screenshot of a bot lounge where perhaps 10+ characters were in there? May I know what is the character creation limit per account?

Plus, I must say, even when everything shifted their focus to the game, it seems everyone forgotten about things that make the game lively. I’m talking about events of course. In-game and in forum. Or they already made one in which I barely noticed? Hopefully to see one in near future because everything right now is very dull.

I think the biggest problem was going F2P too early. Players were too impatient, and now they have to deal with all the problems IMC didn’t get to address. It’s IMC’s fault for falling under the pressure to release earlier than intended, and it doesn’t look like they really planned ahead with how to sell TP.

That’s just the internet. It’s never been puppy dogs and cookies since the dawn of /b/.

*Equips keyboard * im ready for war

Lol if you say so.
