Afterwards I had to waste another 25 golden anvils to get it back on +11 again. On a fun note, I had it +11 already before with full potential.

That would be inreadibly broken and you would see weapons + 3764672378.
Maybe having the ability to restore potential on weapon with less than +10 upgrade?
It’s all memo’s fault.
Add me to the list… almost 90 hours to farm my first 2 practo weapon and…
Sadness is: this is the result after 23 golden anvils…
It’s probably time to stop playing

My Aspana also has the same fate. Took me 30 golden anvils to save it back from +5 to +11. Don’t transcend it yet, try to get more golden anvils and try again.
Maybe we are forced now to buy 10 15 diamond anvils when we are at +10 and record a video.
I think you have to be patient with upgrading. In my opinion it will fail more often if you force it.
But you are not the only one with this problem as you can see. RNG is a **** 
The sad part about this is you can see people walking around with 2practo weapons with +26 with only 1 or 2 pote lost… I know it’s possible if you’re lucky enough but… sigh…
I never reached +10. My first fail started at +5 
@Nekorin, yeah I haven’t trascended it. I’ll farm (somehow) some golden anvil to take it to +11. Being an Appr my objective was +13 but it seem impossible.
@Karacho and @Neiru. What I find dumb is that I already had enough patience to farm the weapon itself… this kind of RNG is completely useless and harbors only frustration.
These mechanics are the ones that make ppl quit for the game, and quitting rly seem a good option if your hard work produces no benefits.
I was lucky (or unlucky) that my guild didn’t want me to leave and convinced me to stay… otherwise ToS would have one player less, and players aren’t infinite.
Weapons +26 are obtanaible through cheats and P2W. Luck can take you there, imho.

I didn’t decide yet what to do with this weapon, transcend or not, anvils or not.
Open the sockets first? You know… in the unlucky chance you may forget to save the potential for later… I happened to see quite a few people forgetting to do that and it’s always heartbreaking.
Also, if you’re interested in saving more potential, you may consider using Glowing Awakening Stones for the Awakening process, on my server they were cheap till a while ago
