So are people entering more than 3 times to the new event gonna get banned?

Well there’s another way to look at this, first, if the person who bought, start abusing that exploit on the bestbuy’s website, it can be considered stealing.
Because even if you know it’s wrong you keep doing it, just because it’s an opportunity to get ahead of the others.
Well just like I said Haha, If it happened by accident you’re clear, if you start abusing it You’re Busted.

You dont simply talk morals about an imc game. IMC fcks morals in their own game. Come on. Thats like basic. kakaka

I talk morals in any place at any time xD
It’s Just my style.
=D

I didn’t even notice it said that. .-.

You’re delusional and very out of touch with reality. I can abuse that exploit on the website forever as long as they don’t fix it. That’s their problem, not mine. It’s not stealing when you’re paying for it and they decide to send you extra stuff.

IMC allows us to do the event on all chars, so we do. derp.

As long as they have logs in their Database, well your destiny is in their hands.
In a normal website they cant complain about you, but here they have the control over the game, for better or worse .
So… They can remove everything you got from your exploit. And still they would have a concrete argument against you…
Well they should fix more stuff before publishing it, but I think the new test server will reduce a lot of problems like this one xD

Yeah and I also have a concrete argument to my credit card company. My credit card company will always side with me cause they don’t want to lose me as a customer. They could care less about IMC.

What I’m saying is that, their game their rules, sadly.
And I don’t really think someone would like a costumer who constantly stabs then in the back xD

Well just like I said the only way to stop this fights because of exploits is don’t having exploits in the first place(which is really hard.) But I think the test server will reduce this kind of problem.

Man the number of people with the “I’m smarter than you” in this thread alone…

I say go ahead and “abuse”. If IMC decides to let it go then good for you. But if they decide to give you the short end of the stick and ban you for abuse, then don’t come back here crying. You did agree to the Terms of Service, after all.

Good point buddy haha =)

Like I said. They can ban people all they want for their own dumb fault. But people also have the right to do chargebacks on their credit card. Let’s see how IMC deals with that.

It all depends if Steam allows it.

I don’t give a fk what Steam allows or not. My credit card company will always side with me and when I tell them that I paid for a service and the service was not rendered, they will refund me and get their money back from Steam / IMC.

For all you dumbasses crying about people doing it on multiple chars. Where in the game does it say that you can’t do it on all your characters? Where is the warning that says you are only allowed to do it twice per account?

Exactly, it doesn’t say that in the game. It says it in their announcements on their website. It’s not in the EULA or TOS. Not everyone reads their stupid announcements, especially after being disappointed week after week.

What exactly encompasses “service not rendered” anyway? Is it simply because you bought something and got denied usage? Or is it because you got banned for something you did and got denied usage? There is a difference.

Remember, the ToS and EULA are legal binding documents which you agreed upon once you created your account. You can get screwed up with breach of contract if you try and fight it, regardless of who or what sides you, unless if it’s law, but I doubt it. I’m no lawyer but for me that’s treading thin ice already, regardless of your right to ask for a chargeback.

You sure you have read both the ToS and the EULA right?

https://treeofsavior.com/ts/

IMC Games reserves the right to close, temporarily or permanently, any user’s account without advance notice as we deem necessary.
Furthermore, we reserve the right to delete all user accounts or inventory of characters as warranted.

IMC Games reserves the right to ban any user from the Game without refund or compensation.

Like I said, if they let it go, good for you. Life goes on. If they decide to ban you for whatever reason, tough luck. But life goes on. You can try to appeal for it, but again you’ve agreed to be under the Terms of Service in the first place.

EDIT: Now if you decide you don’t like the ToS and EULA anymore, there’s what you called a “termination.” It’s written there. It’s also written there that you are to leave Tree of Savior pronto once you decide to terminate.

You think that IMC is going to take legal action against some foreign person for breaching terms of service? It would cost them more just to setup a hearing in court and then pay lawyers to get absolutely nothing from some small fry player. You can’t get blood from a stone and they are not going to waste money on something that’s not even going to get them anything.

What he is saying is right about the credit card charge back thing. They can get their money back easily with just about any excuse as long as you know what to say to customer support. Now what -could- happen is since this goes through Steam they will ban or blacklist you and your card.

Otherwise this is seriously a joke and trying to explain to naive children the reality of this world we live in currently. People do this stuff all the time it’s not a joke unlike the game’s Terms of Service.

Also, lmao at thinking about people getting serious over ToS when Sorien is charging people money to use a hacking program. Then you’ve got RMT pushing billions of silver to people who will never be banned ever because IMC just doing IMC things. I think they are the bigger threats than someone charging back $10-100 one time.

Yeah? So lets buy a white Tshirt in a department store, use it as much as you can and after 2 months, that Tshit become yellow. So we ask for a chargeback because “My credit card company will always side with me and when I tell them that I paid for” a White Tshirt “and the” white Tshirt become yellow.

Really legit…

Anyway. Good job by blacklisting your credit card.

Ii am sorry. but this is wrong. Your credit card company WILL NOT always side with you. If there is a major problem, you will get a call from a fraud specialist to discuss the topic and review your stand. If it ends up badly you can get charged for fraud and you are ■■■■■■, not to mention if valve decides to ban your steam account, you are double ■■■■■■. Broken steam + blacklisted on your cc.

Saying that your credit card company will always side with you is not only stupid but also very very naive.

They do the same thing as Valve and black list you because even for credit agencies going against a small person is not worth the investment. This is if you are like a habitual scumbag always charging stuff back without real reasons. They all do still want your business in the end even IMC and why there’s no bans for big time spenders.

players in black desert thought the same, until daum began to file a report for each of them, some got ■■■■ hardcore, especially the paypal buyers.

The biggest bdo western bot creator poe yxz was even brought to court. I doubt that IMC will take sorien on with lawyer tho.

The funniest thing which I should actually check is to see is if that page is even legally binding because I don’t think you click any where even after installing the game. I’d have to reinstall just to see this but if there’s no clicking or anything then technically you’re not even agreeing to their terms of service properly.
