If you look at the poll right now, you will see option 2 is winning by far, and for good reason. I personally think IMC made option 1 intentionally too short, to make people want to choose the middle ground option.
Paying 50$ just to have 7 days ahead of other people is ridiculous, especially since typically people with more money are people with jobs, and people with jobs can’t nolife farm all day and take full advantage of the 7 days.

They did one best option, and we should be thankful. The reason was not only to avoid spliting the community, but also to give the illusion of agency to us, thus calming everyone.
I think was a good move and the outcome is great…
Don’t forget about TP rewards. If they made option 2 and reduced EA period to 1 or 2 weeks (with the same prizes), it’d result in even more votes for this option.
But I like it as it is, and gonna buy 50$ pack now.
I don’t really need headstart advantage but free token is cool.
I’m not complaining about their decision. I’m just stating that I feel like they knew what they were doing by making option 1 so extreme. I don’t care either way because I intended to pay 50$ from the very start.
And I am saying that I think they knew exacly what they were doing and I am glad they did.
You know I’ll never understand people bitching about the price…

Even those of us with decent and well paying jobs don’t want to pay $50 for a FREE game.
But even still it’s not like $50 is hard to come by.
Especially on steam where you can take surveys for steam money.
Or play other games and sell ■■■■.
