Should i go dopple on rank 7

Currently i am swd3 cata3.
Rank 7 plan to go dopple.
A couple of question:

  1. Can i equip 2h spear and use all the dopple’s skill? (Example, equiped 2h spear and cyclone)

  2. Can i use all the dopple’s skill when mount? (Will it dismount? Or i need to dismount 1st only can use all the dopple’s skill)

  3. Any dissadvantage? Since cata is a 2h spear class, if i choose dopple, anything need to take note?

  1. all circle 1 doppel skill work with 2h spear
  2. cyclone will dismount you automatically
  3. i assume pvp. disadvantage is that u cant really use cyclone without restrain on mobile target.

IMO Corsair or Doppel is great for R7 (for Sw3 Cata3) if you plan to go Lancer for R8. Goon1 is default for Goon2.

Not all. Punish and Cyclone can’t be used while mounted. I think it just auto-unmounts you considering how pets mountable by all class works the same.

Really just depends on your playstyle. DoV’s defense penalty is gonna be a b*tch to deal with when you’re against pAtk classes but great against high CON magic classes. You can followup Rush with Cyclone (or vice versa).

For rank 7 dopple, any build you recommend?

Max DoV - your main reason for picking up Dopel on the build. This will help boost your overall DPS.

Max Cyclone - 2 charges, each at 4.5 seconds making it a pseudo-Rush.

You’re free to spend the extra 5 skill points on whatever other skill you like. A few things to note though:

Punish shines on C3 only so not a good option. Can’t use when mounted too. Will unmount you.

Mordschlag has KD but throws the enemy very far. Be noted that Lancer will have a passive attribute where normal attacks will KD enemies at 30% chance, and you have 3 charges of Bash + E.Wave + Doom Spike too. The KD distance could be good in some situations though (e.g. KD an enemy towards a trap or magic circle).

Double Pay Earn is more of an item/drop hunting skill, so solely for PVE purpose only.

Personally, I’d put the extra points on Mordschlag.
