If you think about it, just let it die to prevent future damage may be a good idea.
And then let them resurrect it back after fix all of that 9 trillion problems bugs&glitches (which is sound like exaggeration but believe me. It’s not.)
Game is beyond repair anyway…
You can fix all you want and still get IMC’ed.
Up – Getting nearer to approval.
Server merges usually are not the correct way to keep a game alive.
During the first few post-merge weeks playercount will be high, both by throwing all players on one server aswell as older players who quit before checking the game out again.
However, after a short while - say, a month or two - playercount usually drastically drops again, often even more than before, because not only does “more people on the same server” mean more conflict when it comes to finite ressources in TOS (monster respawn time/worldbosses/grinding spots, etc) but - most importantly - people remember why they quit the game in the first place.
Server merges don’t fix why people quit the game in the first place, it’s only giving everyone - both the players and the shareholders, if any - a temporary illusion that everything is ok, that the game is running fine and that no playerloss is happening. But that illusion usually fades away rather quickly.
By demanding server merges you’re only making the developer waste time and ressources for creating a temporary bandaid when instead they should be working on a real and long-term solution for the problems.
The only real solution is actually making more people want to play this game and fixing why people quit the game in the first place
-improving the gameplay itself
-fixing bugs/FPS problems
-fixing the reasons why people leave in the first place
-advertizing more so more new people notice and play this game

Actually they denied any plans to server merge on the last GM meet up event. And pointed that their priorities are on
- Performance
- Bug fixing
- GvG (i’m guessing because of the highly competitive guilds)
Their priority problem solving speed is terrible, but so far the content and rules that may limit play features are being optimized quite nicely. It may ACTUALLY be true that they are gonna be great on 2020 lol.

Isn’t every MMORPG like that. The players aren’t mean to be stuck on place, i mean … thats a rpg … lol

There are lot of fun people on Orsha (aka dead server)
So i can’t imagine people without friends that much. (Maybe Fedimian because reasons)
And yeah, i’m still having a lot of fun theory crafting and casually playing alts in a non-serious mode. Finding the correct guild/community to fit your ideas for the game helps a lot.

By your logic:
its not that TOS is fun, we are the one telling ourself its fun.
You are the one telling yourself ToS isn’t fun.
The problems exist, they are quite EXTREME on some cases, but from my perspective, i’ve met MORE people who enjoy the game than people who dislike it. Even if i get fed up with it frecuently.

Yeah i do! i can be happy with 4k people lol.
I get fed up as well, but it’s useless and pointless to even waste energy on it.
Why waste energy getting mad, when you can rage with friends, throw some jokes on guild chat about your char head getting possessed. If ToS is dying (which it is) i may as well enjoy it as long as it lasts.
