I’m not saying that brazil will give more profit than US, but have more players. And that number is large enough for me to say that Brazil will be more profitable than the rest of the others latin countries. Mainly with a possible increase of players, there is alot of people here that don’t even installed the game because the news about the game had been full of bugs.
I’m from Brazil (Sao Paulo), and the game is pretty much unplayable right now.
Doesn’t matter who is the biggest market, if this game wants to be successful worldwide, then EVERYONE should have a good gaming experience.

10$ Pack = 37 R$ if done roughly (1:3,7 ratio)
10$ Pack = 18 R$ done by steam (1: 1.8 ratio you can 1:2 ratio if you want, cause no one pays exact 18 for something, you throw’em a 20 bill already)
So if you’re the kind of person that doesn’'t complain about paying the double as the guys next to you, well my friend, I have bad news for you.

95% of SA server is brazilian… why imc would put the server out of Brazil, for 5% of the players improve connection while affect 95% of them ??
for a QS, 40ms is very different from 140ms

well thats what i mean when the server was in brazil this game was unplayable for me and everyone else that doesnt live in brazil, me and my friends would think about quiting every day, now that the server is elsewhere it is 1000 times better we can actually play the game and enjoy it I i just think about how many people quit the game just because it was unplayable.
Making it short brazil just has more player because they were the only ones able to play it.
the lag and problemes u are crying about right now, for people outside of brazil was an everyday struggle.

When people say that Brazil has one of the biggest player base, they say it based on statistics from the closed betas + founders pack selling charts that were released, and in those charts brazil were always with 30%+ of the player base while other SA countries didnt even deserve their names on the chart, being put with the “others” with about 3% of player base (note that at this time the servers would be located on NA only, so theres no reason for other SA countries to not play).
But yes, keep telling yourself that Brazil has more players just because the server were bad for other SA countries (acctually it was bad for a big part of BR itself), its just bullshit and they will never place an SA server in another country.

maybe u r right and they will never do that but it would still be good if the server were to stay in NA is a lot better than BR servers.
I didnt play the beta so I dont know what the lag felt like but I know now is 1000 times better than it was when the server was in brazil and I know people were thinking about quiting because of how unplayable it was but now we are fine.
you guys should just get over it and stop complaining.

More players than the rest os SA countries? Probably yes, but i really would like to see more players from other countries on the server.
And about the lag, as I said, the server were bad even from Brazilians, just the one who lived really close to the server or the ones with way better connections could play properly. When they return the server to Brazil, with a proper service, the server should be better for almost every country on SA, except the one more at the north, probably they wont see much change.
IF the server for YOU is better in North America, than JUST PLAY on KLAIPEDA or ORSHA. Simple as that. Stop trying to make things harder than they already are.
No company in their right mind would place a server just for a small community.
Its from this that I get the informacion about player base, it is not from the beta. You can see for yourself in a link that i post in other comentary.
I live in São Paulo where the server was hosted , and even for me living close to the server it was far worse than it is right now lol, i wouldn’t mind if the server goes for another country in SA if they can get a decent server and show a good improvement on ping over the american server (note: even the actual american server sometimes show up some lag not as bad as before tough) ,clearly i had a better ping showing up before (at best 16ms to 33ms) , but the server lag was absurd and the play experience was really bad.
In Short: So more important right now is getting a better server, and if they decide to move to another country at least they need to have a good ping for us brazilians (40 ms to 80ms is ok i guess)
Do I need to repeat myself? the server was unplayable for other SA countries would you play an online game where u have to try to connect at least for 20 minutes before you start playing?
because people outside of brazil had to do that. so yeah of course there are gonna be a lot less player from other SA countries than brazil…
I’m from Argentina as well, and the ping/latency seems to be better because the server it was a freaking mess after May 5th. When they open the server I was getting around 30ms of ping time, after F2P it was 400ms average. The higher ping is actually quite noticeable on melee classes.
It works better now? Yes. Could it be way better? Yes.
Brazil is the place to host the servers, unfortunately they chose a horrible host/server plan the first time. I don’t think AWS are the issue here, as many other games are hosted on Brazil AWS and work like a charm (ie Path of Exile, Diablo 3 and League of Legends).
That last post was not in reply for you and neither was to any arguments you made.
But It could respond that point you just made. Try to see through the IMC eyes, who would you try to please? 99% of the server or that 1%? Even if you was sad will not mean that much, if the in the end, means leaving 99% in a bad situation.
The only thing that you need to ask to IMC is: increase your effort in find a better server. And belive, there are alot of server that work properly, I could do one myself if I had the money.

We got 28% of the player base its a no brainer to host a server on Brasil in a business perspective.
Another matter for others players in sillute is the community gap between Brazilians and other south Americans there’s the language barrier and cultural barrier because the Brazilians pop just dominate the server and honestly if I was a non-Brazilian in silute I just ask IMC for a transfer there’s no pros right now unless that for some bizarre reason you love the br community.
Hell, the only reason I on sillute is(was) the latency of SA server, like many here I’m not a big fan of the typical hue behavior, so I and a huge number of players. expect the server to come back.

Same here, argentinian player with a pin of 300-800 with the server in Brazil, now its 200-300. It could be better but at least I can connect and the skills and npc dialogues works.
Get back the server to South America? , sure but not in the same conditions as before, it really sucked
Its funny since I reroll my chars to make a Fletcher, since I was playing in a server without lag, and now I’m stuck with a char totally fúcked by the lag.
