Every Cent of money invested in this game aside from additional character slots is such a waste.
It’s another reset pack coming at the worst possible time (still remembering the last one without a Rank Reset voucher)…

I mean sure, some builds got somewhat screwed over by the more recent changes that are still not live on iTOS (e.g. the Bokor update where Zombify has 8 fixed Zombies), so people on those builds will surely like this option (if they’re not able to grab the “Guess to impress” free skillreset and simply save their points).

The great oppurtinity to make money isn’t used,though, as e.g. making an announcement regarding Rank 9 first to entice people to actually buy this.

If this marketing strategy isn’t used, I fear that there will be another free reset event prior or after Rank 9, making this quite the obsolete purchase. Spending the same money on characterslots will result in way better options in the future (and more income with the Saalus changes as it becomes easier to get shards&silver per character&day).

Also, screw the regional pricing. DLCs should cost the same across all servers as they’re extra income.

i feel like a free reset should come when rank 9 comes but only to change your rank 7 and 8 because those are the only 2 ranks being affected by the new ranks so if this happens, the ones people buy now wont be completely useless if they come in the future. and i like theyre adding this people will surely buy it, i personaly wont because im broke lol and i dont need it atm. but the money will let the ktos patches get here faster hopefully

The whole build is usually affected by new rank, not only last two ranks.

Likely with fundamental changes so that people feel they need to reset as their build gets gimped or made far less effective.

Wow as much as people crap all over this company and it’s staff on the forums their support team responded quickly and kept their promise. I’m a returning player from launch and sent a ticket basically leaving feedback that the event was nice but they should’ve added reset vouchers for those of us with messed up builds. It’s the reason a lot of us left in frustration.

Long story short they told me to keep watching the news page and I’d have a way to reset shortly. So for all the crap people are posting about them it really doesn’t seem all that bad(aside from the new way to purchase costumes).

But yea, those kind of “white knights” already quit maybe half a year ago…

Forums is a separate game and the best pvp mode IMC has to offer.

except the fact is players have been asking for it since release and it took them one year plus to finally decide on selling it.

i said over a year ago id quit if they ever had a reset voucher

at the time i was maining a squire3 and i did not want other people to simply reset their alts that they no longer played into squires to make easy money, which would devalue all the effort i had to put into leveling a class that would be considered “not viable” for combat and therefore had less dps and slower leveling.

but after a year now, with the game literally changing classes with no notice all the time and literally ruining peoples characters, ive grown up and realized with such an unbalanced game there needs to be something like this until imc actually has their ideal classes in mind implimented compared to what we have now which is flavor of the week builds according to random patches.

glad this a reasonable price, considering i had to pay $50 for a stat reset potioin during founders release. now i can finally fix my alt who has been on hiatus for awhile now, since imc didnt bother releasing proper patch notes regarding every single skill that was changed during combat update and instead saying “lol figure it out yourself heres 2 weeks get going” in which i honestly lost all motivation and did not feel like testing literally everything so my alt ended up being a bad build just because they were too lazy to translate the changes.

looking forward to more ways to waste money on this game that hasnt changed at all since r8 came out

Little reminder this is only one purchase per account, per team, per server.

One character.

Which leads me to believe this DLC is just a one time “cheap” method.

A real reset will come later on. Guarantee it.

I hope for everyone’s sake it’s something along the lines of a Cleric R9 class that can set up a “rebirth” shop with a very expensive material, along with the rarity of say 20 of our current orange materials or even a Practonium tier item. Hopefully nothing tied to guild raids however, though I’m sure some ragtag secluded reeking guilds would rejoice at that kind of exclusivity.

Good thing to, if I logged into this chit I’d probably get rehooked and buy a token like an idiot.

Only problem with that idea is that if your build is broken and you don’t want to start over there’s no way you can really afford all that without either plodding through a build you don’t like or starting over.

This case was very different because as I pointed out to them they made a big deal about us old players returning and then didn’t offer a reset of any kind for us to fix our builds.

They did mention about ingame methods to obtain rank reset in the future. When that happens i’m sure they will sell it in gambling cube as well.
