Hey there, since the rebalance weapon damage has become much more important to damage dealt overall. The thing is, when does Venier become moot in comparison to physical damage on potential other weapons? (This is for Fencer3)

Replace with Pevordimas Rapier when reaching 315, and then aim for a Black Horn if needed. You can upgrade your Pevordimas to +11 and with that reach a very decent patk.
I was watching a video of a Korean 290 solo run and he said to keep +11 Venier until you get Lolo or Solomiki.
His opinion was: Solmiki > Lolo > Blackhorn > Venier > 220 purps
I guess it depends on your build.
For a str Build Lolo>Blackhorn
For a Dex Build Blackhorn>lolo
Puple prac is better then hg rapier.
But if you go for lol/blackhorn i wouldnt waste resources on a blue hg rapier.
My +12 Cata rapier has around 1.1k atk thats enough.
I can easily farm mats for the Blackhorn.
And the purple ones are to hard to get for a placeholderweapon.
Yeah, I’m currently using a +11 Venier, so it does have less patk than the others but it depends on how much extra damage you get from the +2 on all Fencer skills… So I’ll probably just do a bit of testing once I get a 315HG weapon to +11 and post my findings on here too.
I’m currently using a Str/Dex build, around 3:1 respectively.
I think you need to evaluate where your damage is coming from. Are you primarily using fencer skills, or do you use skills from your other classes a good deal? Venier is better in the former case, otherwise higher phys attack will help round out your damage for other class skills.
