Remove trading restrictions!

as a single player as of now i dont have any problems except the auction…
but when my friends/family starts playing at april 27 then that would cause a commotion especially the new players since it would restrict us from helping each other big time.

don’t be jealous and stop cryin

Should not have to get a token to be trading in the first place.

I’m against the trade restrictions. What i think imc should do to fight the gold sellers and bots is disabling global chat and removing megaphones for good.

Trading should seriously be a basic aspect of any MMORPG out there.
Buying a Token for it is totally nonsense.
(Some people offer Tokens cheaper on the shout chat for example, a person without a token in use couldn’t even buy it. One more person dissatisfied! And tokens have enough other good benefits no need for ‘‘allow’’ trading in it. And just because it is offered and sold cheaper by some players, doesn’t mean they are all bots or belong to a gold selling group! I also prefer making fast cash sometimes so I sell it cheaper but faster.)
I think trading improves the gameplay and as some others stated, it gets you into socializing with random people more often.
(I also love buying potions quickly from trusted alchemists out there, what about their business? All market? Please…NO!)
As for right now most of us might have a token (Be it in use or not) so the complaints might be lower as well as most people might not even use the forums for it for whatever reason.
And some who used their token might not have realized that it doesn’t work without it.

As for the free to play model, it will be a whole different case!
Most of the people won’t have a token at all, what about them?
They cannot use a game feature which actually shouldn’t be a feature but implemented by default?

Please consider making such basic key mechanics ‘‘Free to Play’’.
It was already great in the previous beta.

(It’s worth a try, right? If it goes really wrong, you can always change it again, but one person, who is already happier with it, might get you even more people to play and more people satisfied, and those people wouldn’t mind spending money on this game. That’s the way you manage marketing.)
((And I am sure there is almost nobody who would be upset over a free trading system.))

Exactly! It’s a step ahead to be a Massively Single Player Online Role Playing Game.
 I like the term even tho it is sad.
I totally agree with your post.
(You have a good heart too being a cleric just like myself!)
I remember battling together with a swordie trying to farm something benefitting each other back in beta! So we fought side on side to get each others stuff done!
Even when the other person was offline we continued farming each others things!
But now, we are all by ourselves  With teary eyes, passing each other, not losing a single word like total strangers.

Since people can’t trade silver even with trade, there is little reason for trading to be behind a paywall.

You made excellent points, i also think that like how things are right now it feels pretty pointless to make an alchemist since they have to basically pay real money to do their ingame business

The way trading is right now it not only punishes free players but in a way the paying customers too, since there is a restriction on how many times you can trade in a month.

This queue on silver in the marketplace isnt working for me… I rely on selling drops and recipes i find in the dungeons to make silver to buy MP pots and repair my equips to run other dungeons… running low on silver and i gotta wait couple days to get more from the marketplace??

I’m starting to see why everyones turning into a Squire at C5… easy money i guess

Please listen to your players. You are doing right things with that megaphone level restriction and the (slightly) fixed monster spawn. Don’t cripple your own game with this trading system behind a paywall. You can earn lots of benefits just by selling cute and nice cosmeticals (like Path of Exile or League of Legends).

C’mon guys, this game is awesome, but it can be awesomer!

Trading doesn’t have to allow silver being traded between players. Just don’t allow players to trade silver and then there’s really no reason to keep players from being able to trade with one another freely. =\

Oh yeah, because that is stopping the bots! You fanboys have lost your mind.

I support every “f2p” I’ve ever played with a subscription. However, if they do not fix the trading system, I won’t spend another dime on this game. ToS will fail as far as the western audience is concerned. ■■■■ like this is crap, and paying $18/mo just to be able to trade at all (and a limited amount) is ridiculous.

The no trading and auction house restrictions is really killing the game… It’s so sad because i got all my friends to join but every one of them left because we literally had nothing to do together in this “MMO”. Can’t trade items. Can’t level together. Can’t do anything.

Just discovered today that if someone buys item at the auction house, they cannot trade it to a friend AT ALL… Wtf why?!

My partner bought me a gift on the AH and he can’t even give it to me, thus wasting the surprise and the enjoyment that could bring to both parties… This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen…

Yup, its exactly this kind of things the restricted trading does. It ruins gift giving and helping your friends out. Its really sad, it takes away a huge social aspect of the game :frowning:
