Red gem or yellow gem?

Base on Q&A I don’t think they mean only STR INT OR SPR but they mean all of stats but they just start from STR&INT

“so we did make a few plans to address stat effectiveness. Starting with the INT and STR stats”

All of that word mean we will have a long long long way to go. Take a time and prepare a wave of reroll by re-balance again. and then IMC will just pad our head by give 1 stats reset. While almost all char in ID has been destroyed.

Copy that hmmm I’ll keep my stat reset pot until the very end lol XD.

You can still have the powerful interaction with Finestra damage attribute: 10% of your int in PAtt, they already thought about your plans sir !

IMC will create a new stat: LUCK
LUCK will affect your silver drops, cube rolls, rare mats farming, dodging magic attacks, and provide 10% to all your other stats.

Then IMC will release stat reset potion that everyone is crying for.

If you’ve got 100% critrate, level 6 red gems only add as much as yellow gems if you roll maximum damage every single attack (240 x 1.5 crit = 360; Yellow always adds +360). On average a level 6 red gem adds only 180 on a crit - meaning at 100% critrate they are equally effective to yellow gems at 50% critrate.

The situation is totally reversed in secondary weapons where red gems are even better than yellow at 100% critrate.

I’ve been wanting to ask, do the damage from gems get added before or after the % attribute modifier from skills?

There’s more mods on Red though ( i think there was a similar thread comparing yellow and red). (Glass mole etc etc).

Well assuming 100% crit yellow is generally better until cards are factor and other various Physical damage modding comes into play. (Base damage mod).

then it woulda be RNG dependant lel. Game of RNG damage. RNG REDS VS ONLY CRITS YELLOW. (i still prefer green until i cap max crit with at least quicken @_@)

all of them are before.

Red gems will get improvise damage from process crit ( 1.5x bonus)

Red gems also get mods from physical damage scaling ( like Glass Mole ETC).

Yellow only get mods from Skill attributes and any other mods like Butt stroke , sept debuff T2.

Basically in a nut shell.

RED VS YELLOW.

Red > Yellow in terms of : 1.5 x crit bonus and any thing modifying base physical damage stat.

But in reality the gain of RED is smaller due to it being RNG 1-310 example versus 470 crit attack at level 7?

It’s more of a mix and match to factor in what cards you are using and what buffs mod do you have to fit into it.

ya ive said from the start its red or yellow, more of a preference, greens are obsolete atm though, I went red over yellow too for my split arrow bounce damage

Not really obsolete though certain classes still require them.

(More effective to proc crit class than pure damage since dex scaling does not offer them 75%~85% crit rate).

Points at swordsman class.
