TBH classes that rely on Mole Card/Chapparition Card for burst damage is bad design, i feel bad for those using it but at the same yes this must be changed for a healthier ecosystem.
But then I think is better to finish off the remaining balance until announce of R9 for full rank reset event like previous.
Now I feel sorry for rogues that relies in werewolf cards. They arent dps already ant IMC decides to cripple them further.
I also feel sorry for wizards that uses full chappa cards. Doppel is indeed the undefeated dps and bossing toon for now even without full glass moles.
Rank reset is useful but since you cant reset to another class like the mighty swordsman then it is pretty much useless. Archer is a dead rank and used only for sr3 dungeon farming or falconer 3 support. Wizard is stuck again to cryo 3 chrono 3 supporting because of the chappa nerf.

Its too early to asume only bad things, they might rework cards eficency as well so maybe 3 chapparitions/glass moles will do just fine if the formula its updated, if not we dont even know wich new cards we might get. To be honest this new card system looks familiar, kinda like the D.N. one, maybe its just the interface.
Well well staying O.T, I agree that when major patches are released rank resets are needed, on the other hand they need to use rank reset events smartly since the last one was a HUGE success to bring people to play the game again. Sadly even the ânew stuffâ we are getting its not enough to keep players around, maybe when the PVP rebalance/arrmor def buff comes to iTOS, that would be a good moment to strike.
They are giving us free card removal. The only build defining card is werewolf where roguesâ are the only class affected. Why would anyone need a rank reset over this? Unless IMC shows us a majority of cards becoming class oriented like werewolf cards are, there is no need for a rank reset.

IMC may give you a 14-day stat/skill reset via some events comming with this patch. I donât think they will give out a rank reset until the templar patch comes.
The problem isnât the skills point distribution, the problem is the class (In my case Rogue) with the new card system.
The problem that I see here is that IMC wants Cata to synergize with Lancer and Hoplite with Dragoon. I happen to have a Cata > Goon and a Hop > Lancer, so the builds would eventually need to be switched over⌠I can still live without extra +30% damage for my Rush, but if they were to add more synergies like these Iâd be craving for a reset too.
On the other hand, Iâve screwed up many builds already trying to find synergies that donât exist so I would be pretty happy about having a rank reset. Everyone was pretty happy during the rank reset week. Honestly I didnât see a single thread in the forums complaining about the reset event itself.
Rank resets donât cause that much harm. Itâs pretty easy to level a new char to 330. Itâs just convenient to fix a little issues with your build if you already have transcended gear with that character and can no longer make a new one.
Rank resets should remain as special events, only available when a new rank comes out or when they do major changes like last revamp.
Theyâre already giving 14-day stat and skill resets through âGuess to Impressâ event.

Then it is much certain that we need it more after all the changes, if let say they figured out the changes and it will be final, how about those who havenât had a chance to make up for those updates.
As I see it actually people who reset their ranks 24/7 are more likely to learn how classes function and synergize, because they try every class and learn about classes which they donât âmainâ. Thus they know about abilities of their party members and function&synergy of their own classes more than person who âmainsâ only 1-2 characters and never had ability to try, check every other class.
Also I want rank reset 24/7 too.
