You can put 5 points into bash instead of gung ho if you want. I just feel thrust/gung ho is enough damage to get you through class rank 1. Reason I take thrust over bash is just because thrust has no CD and decent damage
@Heart I have a question regarding your choice of weapons. Why take the Didel Colossus at level 40? Thresh has a lot more damage. Is it because of the AOE Attack Ratio? Does that affect skills as well? I thought AOE Attack Ratio was only for normal “auto” attacks.
I just used whatever at 40. I used the actual collossus. Early items dont matter too much for barb honestly. Important item is at 75 thats the lapis katz.
I see, ok. Well, based on what your response is, I take it we don’t really need AOE Attack Ratio right? Since we depend mainly on skills and not AA? I’m trying to pick which weapon to hunt.
That is correct
AoE Attack ratio is not needed for this build.
I have a question… When leveling with swordsman, i get 5 pts in thurst and gung ho… The other 5 point i cant use on highlander skill tree. Why?
Gotcha man. Thanks! You rock.
Skill points only carry over if it’s the same class. IE; Swordsman -> Swordsman c2 or barb -> Barb2 -> Barb 3 etc.
Because points only carry over within one class. So you can carry over points from swordsman C1-C2 but not swordsman C1 to Highlander C1.
Then why is there only 10 pts on swords skill tree ?
I answered that in the Q&A
There are 15 skill point in swordsman at job lvl 15. Please post screenshot if it otherwise so we can pinpoint the problem.
He means the build I used. To which I answered in the guide XD He didn’t read it all.
I didn’t quite understand that. Glad for your response, Heart.
I’m still using Lapis Katz at 170
kk btw u know who is dropping Shade runner and Soul Chaser armor? because i think there the best gear for barbar XD
No clue, only know clymen drops gloves at extremely low rate.
What gems do you use? I assume yellow in weapon but what about armor? Also, what about these knockback attributes for cartar strike? Knockback increase/remove/collision damage - are these things I should pickup? I personally hate knocking ■■■■ out of a zaibas or pyro circle.
Thanks for the build, it’s really damn fun.
I’d throw Red in gloves and maybe blue in boots.
For the knockback thing: Yes, get it. BUT, need to understand what it does.
Catar knockback on: You will only hit small mobs a few times and theyll get knockedback, you won’t kill them.
BUT you will be able to one shot the monsters that can’t be knockedback cus you’ll apply more hits.
Catar knockback off: You will be able to 1 shot smaller mobs. You will NOT one shot bigger mobs, it will make you do less hits to them.
So having your knockback disabled is good for grinding. But don’t disable it against bosses or bigger mobs or youll reduce your damage.
