Questions about March 29 release, Founder Packs and other stuff

I’ve made a post in announcement thread, but I will repeate my questions here to confirm they are seen by developers.

So:

1)Token still reduces market taxes to 10%, just like in kToS, right? (it’s unclear in token desctiption).

2)(THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE). Tell us please about the conditions regarding EU/SEA servers. Will they be avialble from start / in the middle of EA / after f2p start? Or maybe we will have 1 or 2 American servers marked as (EU) that will be completely transferred to EU later? I think it’s the best option if we can’t start playing EU servers at Match 29. Nobody wants to play on a server with 200 ping forever and nobody wants to lose their Founders Pack benefits, but transferring separate accounts is not the best idea since it will harm people who want to start at a fresh server.

So basically there are 2 best options in each case: launch EU server from the start OR make temporal “EU” server that will be transferred to EU later.

3)Launch Date. What is the reason to move launch date a week ahead? If it’s connected to EU server implemention, then I personally will calmly wait, because for me access to EU server is much more important then server start day.

But what about people who adjusted their schedules/vacations in order to play at March 22? If it’s physically possible, we would really appreciate if release date would be moved to at least March 24-25, so those people would be able to play the game when they have time.

That’s all questions I have for now, but may adjust the list if new questions appear/answers are given.

Token reduces taxes to 10%.

There hasn’t been any information regarding the specific regions of the servers at EA launch. More than likely there will be each respective region’s server. ( If there isn’t, It’s early access these things take time and the community needs to understand that. If you don’t want to risk your founder’s pack benefits, simply wait until a server that suits you is released. )

Launch date was moved a week ahead because the community went on fritz ( Hard to miss. ) The release dates were changed accordingly to allow time for people to download/get paid from their jobs to buy the packs. The release date will more than likely not be moved, as it would cause too much confusion ( not that it hasn’t already. )

Adjusting your work schedules to fit a game’s release is futile, it’s always subject to change. ( Haven’t you read life’s fine print? )

Those people need to learn not to make bad decisions regarding online game releases, which are always unpredictable and subject to delays. However, moving it to the 24th would still waste their days off, so you’d just end up with twice as many people mad about it.

The token image does say “Reduced Market commission fee 30%” which doesn’t describe the effect accurately.

Actually you told me things I assumed myself, but I asked for confirmation from IMC, not assumptions.

There were information regarding the specific regions of servers, currently all of them are in USA. That’s why I asked about EU server. Playing with 240 ping is not very pleasant.

I know why launch date was moved, but it seems most people on forums are disstisfied with 1 week move. So probably 3 days would be enough. It won’t cause too much confusion since people would be able to access game faster.

I haven’t adjusted my work shedules, but some people had. It’s no wonder that they want to play from the start, so what’s wrong with adjusting shedules?

actually 24th is thursday, so probably they will be able to use at least half of them. Anyway, if IMC are able to move release date (and are willing to), then they should probably make another poll regarding the issue.

I know the description of token is unclear, that’s why I asked for clarification.

No, you asked the users instead of PMing a mod. Don’t make a thread if you don’t want responses.

You’re trying to screw over people who just adjusted their schedules based on the new date. Your own reasoning for moving it goes against you.

Maybe this will help clarify something.
IMC has a schedule, and Steam has a schedule. Pushing content to Steam takes time. Deciding on a release date isn’t as simple as, make it Thursday.

Most of their recent adjustments have all been on Tuesdays, which seems to either run well with the game clock, or is Steam’s schedule. Throwing a poll up now would also be futile as the information wouldn’t get out in time to change the date. It would be unfair to those who haven’t bought it yet either.

I don’t want to screw over anyone. I just asking IMC to think about it. I personally don’t care about the release date.

I created this topic because @STAFF_John suggested to post there questions and suggestions. I’m glad you replied on this topic, but you didn’t answer my questions.

I posted it here instead of PMing mostly to gather more questions in one topic to help IMC find them more easily.

So if you have some confirmed answers or some questions to IMC, please post them here, I will add them to the head.
