Still not able to interact with the circle. I can see the check mark, and I’ve cleared the monsters around it annnd went to channel 3. no good 
Still not working here.

Some channels work others dont.
I just tried this in channel 6 on 31 Oct 2015 at 10.44pm(GMT+8). Finally cleared the quest after 2 days. The scribbling bar will appear and monsters will be dragged into the circle. Hope this helps =)
I can’t interact with the circles too
even I changed to another channel 5-6 times
Try going to ch 06, all the circles worked for me when i changed to it.

Channel 6 worked, didn’t even need to kill anything too (gabija)
2 hours ago i completed this quest at Laima Channel 10, seven out of nine circles work for me 
You should try get out of the map and the get in again, it worked for me! 
it has nothing to do with the #channel you are in, what you have to do is tag (hit) 1 or more brown rodelin “but do not kill them”…
THEN you goto one of the circles then press spacebar (interact) what that will do it is then drag em over to the circle and then you will see the channeling bar and they will die.
I can confirm that the channel switch works.
I changed channel, but only a few circles worked for me and my party.
It’s been half a year ~still not fixed.
Can’t finish this quest…
