I left ToS maybe 6 weeks ago and restarted playing League.Also just started FFXIV and I’m enjoying it. Like many people said ni this post, I just did’t have anything to do anymore in ToS. Ran ET a few times, crafted 1 2 practo weapon. Staretd grinding a second one and realized it was’nt worth the hassle. Stopped doing any dailys, stopped logging in and played lol games instead. Not that I hate ToS. Just got bored.
Will eventually get bored of FFXIV and move on to something else.

It’s k, with upcomnig updates, such sorc buff and 2handed maces, i bet people will come for the hype again.

It’s impossible to population drop silly.
The bots are players, and they are farming a lot!! Which makes IMC happy.
Imagine all the bots ignoring the 2h maces!! Because monk/pala3 inst a bot class.

They didn’t even understand that pvp is the only thing that gives meaning to a game.
Release a 24/24 pvp and you will see the population grow day by day.

For all the PvP fans in here, have any of your played games in which its open world pvp all the time? ive been looking at a few but they all look kinda meh. so any suggestions would be welcome. theres was one a while ago i cant find were it was 1 life pvp, as in your character gets deleted when it dies. it sounded hardcore but graphics were n64 level.

It is cross platform, most players are on PC for now.
Social media propaganda isn’t really anything that helps this game. Imo it would be better if people had enough fun to bring their friends and play together rather than sucking up to nobodies who try to play for a day or two and then get bored.
Also social media is the cancer of the world. Especially Feces Book and Zwitter, those demonic instances of human cruelty and propaganda. If a certain little man with a small beard beneath his nose would’ve had the opportunity to make an online platform for boasting with his crimes and to spread his propaganda, he would’ve created something like Feces Book or Zwitter, no doubt about this.
Better not have a stronger presence there, people would leave more negative comments than they did (rightfully,though) on S#!tㅂeam.
Making the game playable and enjoyable so that people don’t leave in the 1st place is the right way to go.

Positive reviews are mostly from players who has only played the game for less than 100 hours, some even stopped months ago. Negative reviews are from a good amount of players who has played the game for thousands of hours.
This only means one thing: end game is sh~t right now. IMC should take notice.

There’s nothing to promote the game via social media anyways, most of the games have at least hard raids, dungeon time attacks or dungeon dificulty modes, good pvp, gvg or battlegrounds. Tree of savior has nothing of that, so there’s nothing exicting to see. TBL its beyond broken and not fun to watch, neither are solo dungeon/salus runs, since trans make everything super easy.

That’s wishful thinking. Gameplay is crap. Netcode is crap. How can you increase your playerbase through word of mouth. But I know you will counter with this argument “TOS needs to fix their game” but the reality is they can’t. They don’t have enough money. Social media marketing is cheap. So why not do it? This game F2P for chrissakes!!! Everyone can try if they like this game or not and you don’t want to do social media? That’s BS.

Lol yeah, that " I also like how you can easily report bots" only holds true for gold spammers in town who recieve like 100-500 reports a day.
If you ever try to report real bots via the ingame function, they will never be touched.
They will only be banned if you report them on the forums (which most people don’t do because it’s a hassle to make a video,crop it, upload it to an external source and write a stupid bot report just to get rid of a bot that is created with less effort than a player has to pressure the Staff to remove him).
They tried to fix the game, but a lot of issues are still persisting/recurrent, but on iTOS only(hence IMCed). There are also bugs incoming with updates that are completely unrelated to their content. Yet they don’t care and update every week with some useless stuff to make the whales pay for the server upkeep.
A lot of people suggested to close down the servers for a while to do the fixes (and thus save time on adminstration + money on server expenses), but to no avail. Population can only drop till there’s noone left to pay the servers. If the whales leave, noone will pay for the servers anymore.
It’s like those states of Greece, Turkey, Argentinia and Venezuela trying hard to keep their state running although their is no hope to save it from bankruptcy.
I.e. the outcome of when “never change a running system” got cancer.
