in my opinion u should go full con with this kind of build.
I agree! I think that Peltasta will always be desired IF he put some points in swash buckling btw(his build has no points in it).
Plus, all those utility things on squire are very good.
Hard to farm in a Con Build. Lack of damage and griniding gets tedious. Rather than a battle of monsters, it becomes a battle of patience and attrition.
This is the useful part of your build, not the squire.
u are doing a party build, the best thing is if u can go without a healer, if u dont die, if u block everything. thats the reason of going full con, u will do everything with a pt.
any grinding pt will want a full con pelt 3 squire 3, i dont think u would have any problems leveling.

Try to grind by yourself with a Full Con Build with no parties, no one to deal damage in a no exp rate increase without any quests to do and get up to lv 200. You’ll be weak.
Also, that aint my build

Cause that build doesn’t exactly focus the main parts of a Pelasta, which is a tank (IM NOT GONNA DIE BIATCH), taunting build. When leveling, Pelasta does have a use with Swashbuckling, group them up and get someone with AOE to kill them all. But in PvP or GvG or solo play. Pelasta is hard to lvl, due to the amount of time it takes to kill a monster.
In PvP, they are hard to kill, but people sometimes leave them alone cause they wont be able to kill people and you dont really want to waste time killing a wall when you can kill the gun behind the wall and then kill the wall afterwards.

Full on C3 won’t contribute more than a dedicated combat character in parties.

Well your build is definitly strange… but yeah lets not talk about it cuz the main topic is about squire usefulness.
Its really depends on the previous 4 ranks path and what you really need atm. If your going with a party, full time, it can be usefull.
Prob on a guild war too… but its situational.
I won’t say i never “exploded” at someone, be it on these forums, or other place, because i am no saint.
I do try my best to be polite, but if you read this whole thread, as i think you did, you will see that the OP don’t have the said moderation.
As for what i said already in here, for me still valid, so the rest is up to the OP to decide.
Anyway, lets try keep this on topic, it is already enough we derailed the Pics thread into cats and memes, and this will be the last post i will do on this thread.

Here is the “right” build for your setup. I would suggest STR:CON 1:2, I think it would be enough to survive in every situation and it will also provide a bit of DPS (and help keeping aggro slightly). You can also consider respending points from Arrest into base camp but I think 1(or maybe 2) is enough.
Talking about squire, I personally think it’s really underpowered. Though, weapon maintenance will give your party around 100 physical/magic damage at level ~250 which is not too bad. Repair is pure utility, no real use in battle.
Table will provide you with usefull max HP/SP buffs and semi useful HP/SP recovery buffs.
Overall it provides very limited utility that scales very poorly with lvl, comparing to priest classes, but it has long duration. This class only use is together with Peltasta, just because you will use swashbuckling and stand with pushed C button ~90% of time, so you won’t be able to use other classes too much, while Squire provide decent idle buffs.
And yeah, I agree with people who complain about wrong thread. Class opinion/discussion should be held in according class threads.
