Uh…class reset is the least of it’s problems for that sort of thing but I’m guessing this is just a troll/bait post. In case it isn’t, in what world do you see this game having a competitive PvP environment? GvG is literally a circular map where you rush to the other team’s tower and just spawn camp them with AoE until you win. TBL has basically no criteria for matchmaking. On my alt, in his first ever TBL match, he was matched against the #2 ranked player at the time and the #19 ranked player at the time, he was also only Rank 5 in class.

There is a lot that needs to be changed to make this game remotely serious about PvP and GvG.

maybe my own fault… coz there haven’t been any serious MMO with huge international tourney after RO…

I thought Mr Kim gonna go big with TOS…
I guess I’m wrong about that, so I can quit TOS now and be happy with life?

@Levan , please refer to lion’s comment as to why I don’t participate pvp/gvg competitively as for now. Coz too much hue at the moment.

That’s your own preference to not reset but it still doesn’t affect you. In line with your example, I’m a vegan but it doesn’t bother me seeing people eat meat. I could care less about the animals. That’s their own personal choice. It’s a diet not a philosophy, no matter how outspoken some are. People need to learn to respect other people’s opinions. Just because someone disagrees doesn’t mean it’s a personal attack on you.

At the end of the day, I don’t care one way or the other about circle resets. Looking at polls most people want them so why not.

As far as rerolling for meta classes, you’re free to do so as well. The meta will change again anyway. It’s better than the game stagnating. IMC had no qualms nerfing linkers and PD or buffing swordsman.

I shouldn’t be posting coz im still serving my mute period, but Class Reset is my fav topic I got triggered so hard I break my own rules about not replying… oh well…

on another note, maybe its my fault I thought TOS gonna be anything big…
The higher the expectation, the deeper the disappointment I guess.

If anything, Class Reset is good for any casual game, but its just not my cup of tea.

out of the 6k people remaining on average, Class Reset probably loose another 10~20% people…

not sure if Class Reset able to bring more new people

core issue still the fps, pvp/gvg/class-balancing, weak game content, exploit/hack…

but I don’t have high hope for TOS anymore.

ToS has always been in the back end of things, I have no idea why you thought otherwise since starting the game. The gameplay itself at first glance, ever since the beta days, pretty much showed how trivial it can get, especially when it’s just “use skills, wait CD, use skills” that generic, unsuccessful MMO’s get.

Class resets in any way don’t matter when the core itself is already too poor to consider. I’ll be straight with you and say, if Class Reset is indeed the factor that would make you quit instead of the other glaring problems that prevent ToS from becoming a great, competitive game, then it’s one of the most retarded things I’ve ever seen. No offense, but that’s what my thoughts on your logic.

Game population will continue to plummet regardless of the release of a class reset or not. Sure, it would bring back some players who might be anticipating the release of such a feature for very long, but it’s difficult to retain a playerbase when there are just too many issues that draw them out.

TL;DR, class reset is just a speck in the grand scheme of things. It’s not going to be the end of the game, other issues will be.

whoa, skip the “retarded” word will ya~

I quit TOS because

  1. FPS single digit issue
  2. Poor pvp/gvg/class balancing
  3. Exploit/Hack causing pvp/gvg/achievement invalid
  4. Weak content (everyday login do mission/saalus, then logout…)
    5. party-quest-stuck-bug

im about to quit TOS already with above 4 reasons.

Class Reset is the last thing I will tolerant.
(this is just my preference, ofcourse)

Or, even if they fix the main 4 problem, i’ll still quit any game that offers any-kind-of-reset.
(its kinda like orange or apple, not to say orange is bad, but I just don’t like it)

Don’t worry, this is just haukinyau’s “I Quit” thread…

@Levan you and the remaining 6k players wont even miss/know who is haukinyau later on.

Why is it that the last straw is the implementation of class resets really? All of those other glaring issues you’ve mentioned obviously carries an extremely bigger weight compared to the existence of a class reset.

It’d be more understandable if you quit from the first four of your reasons alone. It’s exactly why I used the word retarded, because it’s a stupid reasoning to have a feature that isn’t shoved into your face to be the prime cause of you quitting.

If there would be reset, it’s probably thru an event and only 1 per account is allowed. Maybe it’s on the last list of the mystery reward on the current event.

no, to be exact, if TOS advertised to have Class Reset in first place, i wouldnt even bother to download…

like i say, there is nothing wrong with Reset…

just my haukinyau pride/ego/preferrence, i dont play any game with reset.

maybe i should just go back to playing catan
