so a 50$ server? nobody would buy that
Vip server was 15 us/month, thats nothing these days, if you can’t afford that you got serious problems imo and really should be trying to fix them insted of playing a videogame. I live in canada myself, so the cdn to usd exchange rate kinda screws me usually.
if I could freely trade among other bonuses i’d pay 15 dollars…
But now is like pay 10$ for EA and play.
P2P server a little different don’t you think ?
Without monthly payment you can’t play so we will have much better community. Less bots, less kids and most bad things will orbit around free servers.
Back in my day… Ragnarok was 15 a month per account just to play… there was no VIP server or cash shop. There also was no racist, whiney children to complain all day about how crappy the game is. You either paid and played it and enjoyed it for it was. Or you just moved on and did something else.

I’d pay. #worthit
if there was monthlyy payment for all servers, this game will mst likely eb reported and shut down, for 1 server then nbody wuld play that server except for a few peoplw
You are example why this game needs P2P server.
so people still think p2p will make bots/gold seller go away
interesting
if i am then that would me you would be even worse. you r starting drama so if i am an example then you would be a better example
Not exactly, but if you botted and will be banned two months later you are losing 30$, if you botted on f2p server you lose nothing and create new account.
You will see when servers will open free. If you think current situation is bad…
yeah its already p2p
@aolgado1
I don’t think they would go away, more like they wouldn’t be all in your face. I’m fine with a seedy underground, as long as it’s underground. I’d like to not have to deal with spam or rampant bots lagging channels tyvm.
@sumatkn wat, its p2p right now but they are still here
@frankopay do you really think they lose money if ever they get banned?
I’m 99.99% sure none of you are in any business and I hope that you’re not in control of a companies finances if you are because you’re going to make them bankrupt!
Setting up servers isn’t free. You don’t just click your heels and suddenly servers appear out of thin air. You actually have to pay for servers, you have to buy the hardware or rent the servers which is costly as hell.
“But it’s p2p people will spend money to play on the serves !!!1one!!!” - fantastic. Are you 100% sure that you can cover the costs of the servers? Man hours? Support costs?.. But wait you need to set up p2p servers in EU, US, SEA… Are you sure they will earn enough to be supported? “Huehuehue”
It’s far more economical to have everyone on one server from a support and cost effective solution.
Feel free to argue that your self entitlement means you can demand what you want. Its clear how much business experience people have. More servers = more cost + man hours + support. Let’s spread an already small team even further. Fantastic idea guys.
And bots, spammers, kids are good for business… Try to learn a little before you will start teaching others please. Do you know what is cloud ? how much it cost to rent a server ? Now days is nothing near costs from few years back. And don’t forget that happy paying customer is what you need. Not masses of non paying customers that are crying on forums because game is too hard or they cant have everything for free. If situation will be worse than today (and i think it will be on f2p day) i will quit probably.
And really for me money is no problem when i have fun in game.
Dark Souls 3 collector edition is waiting…
And this ladies and gentlemen is why we can’t have nice things.
This is the quality of the community.
I love this game, i played Ragnarok in open beta and it was my first korean mmo and first on my mmo list, second is ToS ;). But i hate gold sellers, bots and sick economy where most items are form bot accounts. And im afraid that ToS will end badly, without solid paying fanbase we will dont have updates, new content etc.
I’d buy it. I feel like I already did.

I’d certainly pay to play in a more refined community. No offense.
