If ToS is dying, probably MMORPG industry seeing its end.

Before ToS release, everybody still have nostalgia for RO, after ToS release and most RO players has finally put an end to this.
New contents doesn’t revive the population, while making the game more complicated, time consuming and not beginner friendly. IMC should really consider re-innovate the current existing content and remarket it.

The problem is the lack of optimization, running at 6 fps when there is a world boss isn’t normal, and that should have been fixed asap.

I think the main issue is that at this point during the game every player is lv200+ and there are no low levels. This game seems to follow the routine of “after clearing a certain map of quest, players will not return to it ever again and just proceed to the next.” and since alot of players already completed their character’s gears attributes ect., they don’t have much to do left in game. So maybe new content or event will help bring a few back and then they will dissapear again. Another reason is that they messed up thier character’s build and felt like they’re pretty far in the game and don’t feel like rerolling, since they aren’t hardcore enough to reroll, they simply not play. This one here is probably the most popular reason, certain parts of the game require other players to progress like instance queues and 210+ grind parties, a consistance lack of both atleast on the NA servers cause players to progress at a slow pace or have no progress at all also cause them to quit, lack of players causes more players to quit. Also not only because of bugs, bots, rmt, exploiter issues. But the game itself, many quitters say that closed beta was a far better game for obvious reasons. There are probably more reasons for the constant loss of players but too lazy to list them. This will do for now.

The average player can only take so much. When there’s constant disconnects and getting locked out of things like Team Battle League and not being able to re-enter because the stupid game is disconnecting you, who the fk wants to continue to be frustrated?
And they say the game is recovering on my other thread,Then I find this even IRO and other RO Private Servers has a better population.The Chart definitely tells the truth If only they didn’t neglect the players consent on how the game was they could have avoided this entirely.
