Im not sure if anyone else tested or something. The attribute dont seem to do what it says.
Counter Spell: Enemy Target
"The [Counter Spell] skill only removes enemy magic."
It removes mine and party members skills. So unless Im missing something, the skill pretty much does nothing for now.
Any other oracle can confirm this?
The attribute is bugged, but the skill itself is still amazing in PvP.

It could be that counter spell removes all spells upon casting and continuously nullifies spells cast over it during its duration. However, with the attribute on, ally spells are not nullified when casted over counterspell which would cause damage to those enemies inside counterspells area. Could someone try this out? It might have been worded wrongly if that’s the case.
That’s exactly how CS worked before the patch. Every existing ground magic that was casted within Counterspell’s radius, including that of allies’, will be canceled upon CS’ placement. However, only enemy spells will be nullified following its activation.
It would be redundant if that’s what the new attribute’s supposed to do. So we’re at least expecting that this addition should make it possible to remove enemy spells exclusively.
The attribute should be working as intended. The problem is the skill itself.
New Counter Spell should not be removing any magic circles upon cast at all, and what the attribute does is add the effect of removing enemy magic circles.
The issue is that Counter Spell still has its old effect of removing magic circles regardless of affinity. The attribute adds the effect of removing enemy magic circles, which is part of what the skill already does, thus it looks like the attribute does nothing.
