Guys, I don’t played 1 iCBT but i want play the next, the hope it’s last death, with Wizzard focus in Summon, Necro/Sorcerer, so my give your opnion for my build, please.
Build: http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/l2e7skl9kw/
What is your focus? PvE or PvP? Why you pass for Cryo? for more cc?..etc
Can you explain more your build please?
My focus in PVP, I chose Cryo because CC but don’t no if exist synergy with summons…
Admittedly, I have not yet had a chance to try the game and get a feel for skill application, but I’ve been doing a lot of theory building recently. I like the concept behind your build, but I think you might be spreading a little thin.
You have more direct magic damage skills than you’ll use in combat, since most of your time will be spent moving between several casts. Your main damage comes from your summons, especially while your enemies are helplessly frozen. Any damage you deal yourself is secondary, but I’ll admit that at least one heavy damage skill would be nice. Also, you’ll occasionally run into people with high Ice resist. To cope with this, I’ve developed a build primer that you can edit as you wish:
I’ve switched Energy Bolt for Sleep, which should provide more opportunities for you, when Freeze fails. Also, I dropped the 3rd circle on Cryo, because Snow Rolling and Frost Pillar aren’t doing any wonders. The damage difference between rank 10 and rank 15 ice spells is not that great, especially when you consider that most of your damage is in your summons. Nonetheless, it is good to have contingencies. Instead of a direct damage skill like Flesh Cannon, I put more of a focus on Flesh Hoop, which also provides a small bit of damage mitigation with the attribute Demoralize. The biggest change was replacing the 3rd Cryo circle with Psychokino. This gives you access to two amazing moves for PVP: Teleport and Swap.
Using Teleport, you can get yourself out of a sticky situation, or close distance with a ranged enemy, when you feel the need. Swap can be even more useful, with proper strategy. Swap will allow you to place enemies right where you want them. Summoned an Ice Wall? Drop them in it. They are far from your summons? Bring them right into the mix. Below are some skill combos I thought of with this build:
Swap + Ice Wall: Trap an enemy in the Ice Wall
Swap + Summons: Bring an enemy closer to your mob of summons
Swap + Corpse Tower: Bring an enemy within range of Corpse Tower
Swap + Dirty Pole: Proc Decay on an enemy
Teleport + Flesh Hoop: Land on an unsuspecting enemy to deal large damage
Flesh Hoop + Reflect Shield: Reflect damage back at an enemy, while dealing large amounts of damage in the area around you
Flesh Hoop + Subzero Shield: Allows you to easily close distance with a frozen enemy to deal large damage with Flesh Hoop
Any Freeze Proc/Sleep + Teleport: Quick escape and a bit of time to prepare fresh summons for battle
Gust + Teleport: Quickly widen distance between you and your enemy
Also note that Swap can overheat, meaning you can cast it more than once before cooldown. This means you could potentially chain Swap combos. You’ll be casting Ice Bolt more than Ice Pike, due to the attribute, Chance of Freeze.
I hope you like my build concept, but take it with a grain of salt. Theory is great, but application is all that matters in the end.
@Simbaoshi Great! Very Great! In house I go read with patience… Thanks!
Accepted more opnions guys
The CBT in soon. S2
No problem! Honestly, your build inspired me, and I am now changing my original plan for my Wizard.
What if you were more PVE focused? what kind of build should is optimal? Pyro? Elementalist?
If you want my 2 cents, I think that your build would work so much better if instead of Cryo 2 - Psycho you’d go Cryo - Psycho 2.
Cryo 2 is kiiiindda a weak choice. I’ve said a few times before that if you want to roll cryo you either go Cryo 1 or Cryo 3, heh.
Plus Psycho 2’s get Magnetic Force, that is pretty good for grouping mobs together and then letting your summons kill them all at once!
That makes sense for PvE but would this reasoning also apply in PvP?
what about the stats distribution?
INT > SPR > CON ?
I completely ignored the fact that you mentioned you were PvP Oriented, sorry! Hahaha
Cry 2 could then definitely work on Pvp since you’d want to rely on Gust to make some distance and Subzero shield’s freeze to shut archers down. Just do remember that as far as the skill was back when I played the KR CBT, only arrows would trigger the shield’s freeze! Hopefully it’s been tweaked ever since to give it a bit more utility when it comes to other kinds of attacks.
(BTW I strongly recommend going Cryo - Psycho - Cryo instead of Cry 2 - Psycho just because leveling from 40 to 90 will feel muuuuch better with Psychic pressure!)
Also I recommend with those 5 spare points in Psycho to at least give Telekinesis 1 level. I believe it would be a pretty good disable since players are affected by it, especially since you can probably stall breaking it while you wait for your cooldowns to refresh. Just remember to use it when you’re feeling safe since it leaves you pretty open.
Then again casting it in range of the corpse tower and having it focus on the disabled enemy does sound quite appealing >;p
Hummm… Good, good, you know magnetic force apply in pvp?
Oh yeah! Last time I played any kind of CC dealing skills applied in PvP, no matter how strong or silly they were. Snow Rolling, Raise, Gravity Pole, Possession, Arrest…
It’s only natural Mag Force also does! It has some good burst damage but you would probably have to combo it with a few other skills (Sleep, any manner of freeze) to guarantee it hits. I think that some people, swordsmen especially, would have an easy time running away from it before the MForce collapses and does damage.
