No more rank 8/9/10

given that they will be rank 8+ means they are around lvl 250+ meaning thats a hell long of game time to play. and there wont be EXP bonus like CBT rate when it comes out.

realistically you can have all the classes you want after several YEARS of gameplay.

that is if your still playing ToS after all these years with all the new games coming out.

why the rush ? there are 600lv and 88 classes, more will be added later. its a bad idea to release all contents at once. They need more time to testing, balance and stuff.

becuase most people will just jump in to the next popular mmo the following year.

Everyone freaks out about hidden classes. I bet it’s just a PR and it’s not whatever everyone think it is. Exactly the same as the PR with 80+ classes…

then what is the point of wanting endgame contents like rank 8+ while they can’t even stay long enough for it ?

they probably quit before lv200 lol.

IMC likes alot of characters, i believe they are aiming for more than 80+

I think this is actually a good thing. They need to take a break and focus a little more on the existing content. The game needs some serious balancing.

This is misinformation. They’ve never said we are currently running on 1x Exp. Even moreso, a lot of people have said this is the intended exp rate and icbt1 was ran on 1/3 of the exp rate for stress test purposes+low level zones test(100+ zones werent translated at the time). I’m 99% sure KR obt will either launch with this rates, a little bit lower rates or a little bit higher rates.

Icbt1: The admins made a post about how OUR exp rates were different from Korea because our beta’s ā€œobjectiveā€ was to stress test and test the steam platform. Now:

kcbt1>kcbt2: KR players complained that the exp was too low

Comes in kcbt3>exp rate is raised with exp events in the latests weeks(I think).

Now we need to understand that exp rates are also changed during a beta. You never have an exp rate ā€œset in stoneā€. Rnow the game feels right(except for the 160-174 gap). If you abuse the dungeons like you should(level on the 50 one to 60, the 90 one to 100-110, the 130 one to 136-140, etc) you will always be ±2 levels from the maps you need to go.

The exp rates for kCBT3 were modified a lot, but now seem to be what they want.

As for rank 8+, OBT for KR is set to be 350 levels. Templar (a rank 8 swordsman class as confirmed in the JP Focused Group Test), is also available this OBT.

That means there should be at least 8 ranks in OBT. The level cap (based on maps), is set to be around 500 now.
OBT won’t be 500, it’ll be 350, so not all ranks will be available. It seems like rank 7 should be achieved somewhere around 220/230 based on my experience playing the game, and the general levels of rank 7 classes in the G-Star trailer.

If we keep going at the same rate, rank 8 should be available somewhere around 300. Rank 9 would be 350+, so it seems like they want us to reach rank 8, and anything beyond will be with content updates.

If anything the drop rates will be adjusted since they seem way too high at the moment. EXP seems fine where it is, but drops are through the roof.

How is that so? 2-5% for a recipe doesnt seem bad for me. Blue recipes seem to have a range from 0.5-2% drop rate, some headgears have 0.2% drop rate and a few ETC items have 1% drop rates(drake film, for the red wings ears).

No 0.01% drop rate please :frowning:

Equipment seems to drop like candy, and when I was farming Baron Allendo I got like 6 or so recipes for strength pendant with all the mats. It just seems a bit high thats all, it doesnt seem like .5 to 2% it seems higher.

Believe me I never want to see 1/10000 ever again.

When I was farming silver bars with a .4% drop rate according to TOSbase, it took me about 30 mins to get one, maybe I was lucky but I don’t think so.

hurray. the higher circles are kind of ridculous anyway and completely undermine lower level classes.

i think i might actually quit if they do taht.

I think the drop rates are fine as they are. Sure, some equips drop with a decently high rate (like Strength Pendent), but others, like Free Partisan Recipe ( farmed those Big Blue Gribas for about 3 hours before giving up :sweat:) and monster gems (I think those might be 0.05-0.1%) take a long time to drop.

like all mmorpg then? since in other mmorpg i barely used my early noob days skills aswell
