in diablo they use xbow in both hand… pew pew! 
and people gonna always compare class in ToS with RO altough it really a complete different game…
and then they going to rant that IMC cheated them because ToS isnt what they expected it to be, RO.
I never held a real crossbow in my hands…but shouldn’t you be able to reload it even if there is a dagger in your hand? XD As I imagine it’s totally possible but dunno. I actually always thought crossbows could be one-handed weapons and I think it’s realistic but maybe I’m wrong. However I’m sure it’s easier to reload it without anything else than the arrow in your hand.
Quarrel shooter is possible imo too if the shield is fixed to your arm and not holding it with your hand. I could say the shields seem a bit big for it maybe but the characters are quite chibi/doll like so whatever… proportions are not real anyway.

i hope TOS got katar type weapon for shinobi or corsair,

well its called hand crossbow with less power than the 2-H version ofcourse…
its demon hunter class from diablo with dual hand xbow
and actually using bolts as projectile instead and arrow wich more shorter and easier to reload it.
as for realistic animation for realoding i think when u still equip the dagger, it can be seathed while you reload your bolts into the xbow haha
or you can see how demon hunter shoot (and reload) in diablo III or HotS
I didn’t want to reply to these first but I just can’t… This “anti-RO” thing is rly annoying too. The op didn’t even mention ragnarok just the assassins and the katars but if ppl would pay attention the main focus was on katars not even on assasins…
So at least don’t post “anti-RO” things in topics that is rly not about RO. Post it when you see ppl rly cry about it that ToS is not like RO… I won’t care about that maybe I can agree with that too.

I see. I knew from Mabinogi about bolts but I wasn’t sure it’s always called like that so I went with arrows. XD Anyway those dual xbows seem a bit more difficult to reload but maybe it could be possible too… not sure how practical would it be on the other hand. … and if the -bolts- are the ones on her back that makes it look even more impractical but that’s just an art. x)

her hand xbow got cartridge to automatically reload the bolts 
after the string used for a shoot it retract automatically too, i assume lol

Btw we should go more on topic. Katars with xbows! …or we should invent a new weapon that is something like a katarxbow! Now we are good I guess.

I think that you can reproduce assassin-like class in ToS, just not the whole set of skills it had in RO, but some of the specs.
Like said, corsair for an aspd build, rogue for a backstab/grimtooth build, or even other things that we don’t know yet. It will not be the same thing that RO, and if really want it just go back on it, but it will be different classes with the same mechanics or feeling to play, and that will be rich IMO.
Regarding the katars, was it the weapon or the way your character used them that you liked? Maybe if not exactly with these weapons you can find a class that will give you the same feeling with daggers, bow, or some crazy weapon we don’t know yet

In real life shinobi tended to use everything but swords (though they did have a small straight katana in case shit got bad) from claws to shuriken to glass shards. You generally don’t seem them in frontline combat except very rarely (in history I think only 2-3 people prior to the Bakumatsu held the respect of shinobi so much that they actually went into direct combat).
As for one handed crossbows: In reality they were used with two hands to impart better aim but otherwise it is perfectly plausible to use one with one hand (you won’t be terribly accurate and I hope you have a pulley system to reload it but it is possible). The only argument against single handed use with a dagger in your other hand is the fact that for compact crossbows the pull strength has to be absurd to counter the small acceleration distance of the bolt but considering the armor we’re seeing in the game (ye oldy boob plate) I very much doubt there’s realism to that degree in play.

based on how IMC designs classes, ToS Shinobi will probably the swordsman tree that offers stealth skill
if only shinobi get the murmillo jump skill… ah well lol

Daggers and crossbows do not compare to katars, they are weapons that are specialised in doing the most amount of damage through critical strikes and attack speed. Would be cool if there was a weapon like a Katar, Dosnt have to be the exact thing.

katars maybe put in future such as rank 9 to 10 class, but from images shown 
its holding a chain and shinobi title is from japan.
