[Next Update] Pyrolinker NERFED (?)

Linker needs more skills, it’s glaringly one of the most ridiculous cases of cookie cutter.

I love this game! All go in archer class!

This is too much for me tho. It’s like they are purposely targetting players to stop playing pyro/linker.

HP of all enemies got lowered, most/all multihits got weaker.

Burn from Fireball’s attribute is relatively stronger, as well as better scaling for Flare and Enchant Fire.

Their mindset seems fair for what they did during last maintanence (the big patch nerfing almost everything), tho I do think many nerfs are too harsh.
But IMC may be experimenting things in a more drastical way to give minor buffs over time, instead of giving broken stuff for people to complain when they get nerfed afterwards.

Lets see what happens during the following weeks if/how they tweek the latest changes.

More skills of what its a support class used to reduce the damage received and increase the damage dealt for your allies.
It continues to do that with an emphasis however on Single hit nukes instead of multi-hits.

In exchange Priest really wants multi-hit classes so it can make them do significantly more damage through Blessing.

Fixed this for you.

I mean, linker has a ridiculously obvious skill distribution because there’s not much choice there.

Linker has only 6 skills (and one is single level).

Give it another C3 or C2 skill.

So basically they are trying find and adjust more ways to use the ranks instead of almost everybody picking pyromancer and linker ranks.

I’m perfectly fine with Pyro/Linker being nerfed. They’re far too overpowered when you compare them to other classes. A party of Swordsmen can’t even compete with one Pyro/Linker in killing power.

It’s boring that one build combination blows everything else out of the water, I have 3 R8 characters that have Pyro/Linker as their base: Alchemist, Thau and Warlock.

Wiz’s Rank 1 and 2 classes are too lackluster as it is. Cyro is ideal for CC and that is it. Nerfing Pyro is one thing, but one has to mind its base purpose: damage and I don’t mean high damage numbers. Linker may need a complete overhaul if its spells continue to be a mandatory convenience to reduce the repetitive nature of single-target combat in a high grind game and a damage multiplier.

As MMO class balance philosophy is concerned, we need more buffing of Wiz’s early ranks and less nerfing. More class synergy is perhaps what their original idea was and I’m all for it.

It is not like pyro linker was nerfed… It was actually wiped from existance, lol

Besides pyro interaction, I don’t see how a linker3 with 16 hits limit has any use in team play, specially while grinding.

Yeah, since there are many multi hit skills and other people waste them with auto attacks… But think about lesser ranks in linker, 5 or 10 hits seems abolutely terrible. It would break with one tick of frost cloud, flame ground or so with lv5 link with 5 linked mobs, laughable…``

Linker1/2 are completely dead if the changes are definitive.

This just makes linking a bit more interesting then just ‘link, spam all the everything till dead’.

People will have to time big damage single hit attacks with JP and HK. Linker as it is is far too OP.

I dont really know why ppl are saying this is good, link helps every-fckn-one while grinding… Jeez, so selfish ppl here
