how to you turn the poison off in the top left?

On the first time I arrived to this map, I had a buff saying âYouâre purifying the poisonâ or something like this. No idea what triggered it, I didnât have a chance to reproduce it; I also donât remember using anything. Although I went to the next map, picked up some orb shards and tried to use the pillar on the crossroad (no result though), maybe this was the way to obtain the buff (I doubt it, normally buffs donât transfer across maps in this game).
So, back to the poison room - I used Scoutâs Cloak to use the gimmick, it starts a âMatch a pair of monstersâ game with cubes. Terrible idea to place it there as because of bad optimization the second opened monster does not show sometimes (because of the poison cloud graphic effects). I completed the puzzle once and received a single Some-new-name HP potion Lv2 that was equivalent to Lv10 Condensed HP Potion. Maybe other rewards include more potions of this kind or something else, no idea.
I also wish I knew how to stop the staff parts from dropping as their amount is getting ridiculous.
