It takes less than 3 minutes. I use addon to get top-down view. Then, it becomes very easy. Also movement buffs apply to increase jump distance.
My own giant bird blocking my view during jump, I forgot to disable it.

Yes I use zoomy. Put it on Macro bar to easily use commands.
/zplus rotate 45 65 works best for me for this jump quest

One word for this event: RAGE
This is worse than Maplestory’s Jump quest. First, who’s bloody good idea is to put Translucent platforms among a White background? Especially the light blue platform, at some part of the map due to the angle you can barely see it. The worse is the part near the end where the platforms will appear to overlap each other due to the angle where they seem to align in a single path.
Second, some platform are placed in a weird elevated position that you need to jump at the corner.
For a game that only jump to avoid attacks and NOT jump to platform (this ain’t no Mario). This is the rage inducing part because your character can easily go between falling off or making a jump.
Lastly, latency and refresh rates. Because of how big the map is, sometimes the game will flash a split second to load objects( The teleporter) or other players, this can affect you during mid jump since the game will slow down abit to load other objects or players. In an ironic sense, it’s better to do this event solo rather than having a party.
I managed to clear it a few times but at the same time I was conjuring a storm of curses and swears. If it ain’t for that 500 attribute I will not even bother.
For those who are trying to clear under 3mins, you are probably not allowed to fall off the platform even once because the teleporters will send you back to the checkpoints (there are 3 of them) and you will waste alot of time getting back. And finally, the chest is located at a second room which you can enter through a portal at the end of the platform jumps and it take around 10 seconds to reach it so actually you need to clear the platforms under 2min and 50secs.

Another note; The invisible platforms are invisible, not immaterial. You can just jump on them when they are invisible. I have seen some players waiting for them to re-appear. This is wasting time
Also your character will travel the same distance if you jump first and then keep holding direction key during the jumping. This is game mechanic.
You don’t have to use a run-up before your character jumps, have seen some players try it. They will jump too early and will not reach the next platform.

You can get away with waiting on a couple of them and still get the bonus. If you fall, that is all she wrote. Can’t fall once.

Even worse than the halloween event? (assuming you did it) if so, god damn! Sounds terrifying, I haven’t had the chance to do it yet.
It isn’t that bad, once people get the hang of it they will always get the 500 at least. Getting the 1000 is tricky since you need a flawless run.

it takes 3 mins if you can do it in one try while also skipping some platforms, I’m usually taking 5-7 mins each time. The good thing about it is it doesn’t require any investment, a naked character can run this so you can give them attribute points for future use.

I have four characters, four times I was the only one who reached the goal.
Using keyboard mode, configured movement to numpad because laptop has weird arrows layout. I remember in the past having problems with platforms like these in some maps, because in the mouse mode I wasn’t able to jump diagonaly, changing to keyboard helped fix.
i just HATE jumping puzle ._. its a nightmare for me

Here’s a video of one of my runs that got the speedrun bonus with only a couple of mistakes made. A few platforms can be skipped without much difficulty so I hope it helps.

I have a few problems with this event.
First of all, the description of this event is completely misleading, there’s no “search the mountain” involved in finding the box. The reward will always be at the end of the map. At the end of the platforms.
Then those platforms, the game is terrible with it’s POV and that works terrible with them.
I have a few friends who managed to get the rewards for finishing and the 3 min extra. But i just can’t. For me it’s impossible, the speed buff doesn’t help me either. Only makes everything worse.

Got it on my 2nd attempt at the event. It is really nice of IMC to give out consolation prizes at the end too.

Noticed that there are checkpoints for players to start again after completing a part of the route. These can be improved to hand out tiers of rewards to players. Like for players who spent a full 10 mins just getting past section A can get something extra etc (eg potions that increases patk/matk for 100 for 30mins). This reward doesn’t drop for players who complete the full route for the attribute voucher.

My first run was a complete joke, I finished it with 1 minute and half left. On my third run though I managed to do it flawlessly. It is a simple matter of practice and muscle memory, the event isn’t hard at all.
I used to do JQs all the time on maplestory, glad that IMC brought something similar to TOS as an event.
