‘Its FTP but if you want to do something you MUST be a VIP’

This is not freaking Archeage

Im still playing the game because i already invested time into it and im willing to look past the bugs but i also have a negative review on steam and i am from the USA. My review is only negative due to the amount of unfixed bugs in the game and I even posted in the review if they fix enough i will change it to recommended but until stuff starts getting fixed its staying a thumbs down.

I am having loads of fun with the game, and so are my friends.

Does not excuse the fact that the game has A LOT of things wrong going for it that need fixing ASAP. I also understand that IMC is most likely a small team that is probably only used to working with the far smaller Korean market.

Nexon used to do the publishing work for them on bigger (International) areas and this amount of work might be something new to them so fixes to a lot of issues will take time.

The problems with the game do piss me off at times, but I think that the worse part of it is the lack of communication that the team has with the community, they need A LOT of work on that aspect.

Reassurance and communication is an integral part of doing business and they are lacking that. I do hope they grow more in the many areas they need to and that this game becomes more successful.

just because you think that the overall is bad, doesn’t mean you can’t play the game and hope that things get better, and no, those complains are not a “brazilian only” thing, the game have a lot of flaws and on top of that a lack of communication from the staff, so
there is a reason for all those bad reviews.

stop generalizing against your own kind, would’ve been better keeping your mouth shut.

I left a negative review yet still play it, but like Scyphoza and Seidr mentioned the game still has a lot of problems that need fixing in its current state. Can’t in good conscience give it a recommended review if it still feels broken (like can’t trade with other players, can’t jump back on the lift in the 1st or 2nd jungle map near Orsha, limit of 1 item on the market at a time, quest deadzones that force hours of mobbing trash for exp, etc).

Wife keeps wanting to spend money on it for cosmetics but they don’t even have a way for us to do that and buy TP! I’m sure that will be fixed before anything else since that’s their cash cow, but even then I wouldn’t pay for a game that’s still very “iffy” in its current form.

My friend and I had fun in this game. But he ended up writing negative review on steam when he was killed by boss due to lag.

We can play the game while tolerating a lot of issue in this game. But when there’s the last hit, we tend to write sth bad about it.

It’s normal, cuz the game is not polished enough to get a positive review.

Even though I’m still playing the game, I can list more negative than positive for this game.

I think everyone who writes a bad review but is still playing the game should append to the end of their review:

“Even though the game currently has some problems, it is still incredibly fun and so I will continue playing it.”

Otherwise your review, like the example posted by OP, is quite misleading. You are not recommending people play a game that you are currently enjoying playing

I think it’s more like:
“Even though the game currently has many problems, it is still OK to play if your don’t have anything else better than it so I will continue playing it.”

The logic is: Report a lot(don’t give IMC feedback). Valve removes the game. No one will be able to play if IMC decides to not making the game available again.
Yeah we’re doing it right

I know the game have serious problems, but I know that some of them are due to the game mechanic(bots here, Tera for example have a different gameplay that isn’t attractive to bots and goldselers). But I guess people are dumb to a point where they don’t even think for a while about the facts and just goes with the herd effect on this insane rage

There are better things to put effort into, doing the best to get the game shutdown on steam isn’t one of them

yes, I searched for it and no negative analysis has this description and when I looked at the profile of the person q wrote she was playing tree of savior, and keep talking to people on facebook to not download the game.

If you keep playing a game that you don’t recommend you must be a retarded or a masochist, this is not an addiction like smoking that is hard to stop and you are not forced to leave a review, you are not trying to give a message to other players, you are trying to send a message to developers through the wrong way. You can’t say “don’t play this game it’s garbage” while you are playing, makes you look unreliable or insane, or, what is more plausible, a childish hypocrite.

I love the game, when it works.
And that is 1 minute right as the maintenance ended when ping is only TWICE what is supposed to be, then it goes tenfold that value.
Or when my main character isn’t over one week stuck in a map.

but you prefer to claim the support of imc or just leave a review in steam or comments so that others do not get to play because of this problem?
I should have taken print, one person said he was very interested in playing and another guy who PLAYS tos came and spoke to not download.
I dont understand this

I can look past the bugs and get some enjoyment out of this game but it doesnt mean i would recommend it in its current state. Which is why i still play but have a negative steam review. This also has not stopped me from properly filing bug reports or updating my review when bugs do get fixed. New players especially friends and people i like shouldn’t have to deal with many of the bugs that are currently in the game.

Anyone can trade, your list is outdated my friend.

You: I don’t like this game. Don’t play this game.
Me: Ok
Me: What are you playing?
You: This game
Me: ??

You: I like this game, i play this game, but i don’t recommend it
Me: ???

Me: What are you playing
You: This game
Me: It’s Good? Do you like?
You: It’s bad, i hate it.
Me: * leave slowly without making eye contact*

You simply can make sanse playing a game that you don’t recommend. If the game has problems you should list them and people should consider. If you enjoy even with problems, you should recommend, if you don’t, you should stop playing and don’t recommnend.

Do not think that you are a special snowflake that can handle problems while others can not.

Or simply face the truth: You are not doing a review, you are doing a protest.

lol you are being dense. I never said I dont like this game I said its not in a state i would recommend to people yet. I view it the same way i view betas or early access games i may get some enjoyment out of them in their unfinished state but i wouldn’t recommend the product until its in a presentable finished state and that’s not what ToS is right now. Its a bug ridden mess that i can have a little fun with.

If there is another game of this type, i’d leave for it immediately because this is the first game that had the ridiculous market restrictions among other problems.

But there isn’t, so I will continue to play it until something better comes along.

Doesn’t mean I’d recommend it though.
