Monk Inquisitor or paladin, help build please

I will give u my experience on my build c2>priest1>pala3>plague doc. I am doing full dex > con. I Gave up on rank 7 when i decided that this is not my play style.

you need alot of patience when u are about level200. i pnly have 2 skills conviction and smite. They do not have high dmg. Once was doing a quest that requires to clear the area to open chest, its impossible. By the time i clear, more mobs respawned. Blessing and scarement dont help at all at level 200.

i do not see any worth doing paladin. Barrier can be bought from pardoners.

Not sure what u are expecting on your build though.

Well… Skill distribution is pretty bad. Are you building for PvP or just pure PvE?

Not really. The only elemental damage both builds have are Heal, Cure, and Energy Blast which are all holy. But that’s not how you take advantage of Conviction. You take advantage of Conviction by getting all Fire, Ice, Earth, Poison and Lightning property attack. You could easily do this with headgears but I’ll include this anyway.

For each all of those elements (doesn’t need to have high value), the Conviction debuff will add 100 (or 120 with Divine Might) of each of those element to attacks they receive.

I personally enjoy the Monk1-Druid2-Inquisitor build. The class path that you did is okay, but the skill points distribution is not okay

thx Sir this has been usefull. i was plan to going paladin c3 for more resistence and be some kind of off tank dps. the bonus to magic/element is nice.

at this point have to decide if go full dps with monk or split for some utility in party.

for the monk build can you suggest me what points are wrong? i still don’t know if more intrested in monk or paladin.

for field farm (open world map) and ET wich one may be better?

If u are getting orcale for the stake of more stamina. It can be solved by stamina pot. Instead u can get diev2 for silence which can help your party more

thx but is stamina pot easy to have?

i got some at start of game and never seen it again.

btw yes, oracle was exacly for the buff.

also intrested on some field farm like manahas and oracle is usefull. :smiley:

Cleric:

  • Always max your Heal

Diev

  • Carve Attack is actually pretty good for fighting Leather armoured targets
  • Leave Vakarine at Lv.1

Monk

  • You’ll want Lv.1 Hand Knife for the armour break
  • Maxed Energy Blast for your AoE
  • Iron Skin also has its uses if you want to block some attacks but it’s okay to skip

Oracle

  • You can just use stamina pills for Stamina. No need to max that skill
  • Counterspell is the best thing from Oracle. You should definitely max it. When a player enters Counterspell, they take up 1 “target”. When they leave, the is wasted. When they re-enter, they take up another count of the “target”. Maxing it might be good so it doesn’t randomly end before the duration

Inquisitor

  • I personally prefer God Smash over Malleus

If field farm is a factor then definitely Monk

going to skip iron b/c will go for high dex, (so should be 80% EVA a part for super accuracy archers) and also plate armor + aspersion should be ok.

tell me if is better now:

and if have any suggestion :slight_smile:
also with this build what is the recommended CON? all the rest i will put in dex.

oh and about:

is more worth 900 dmg more on God Smash, than another skill?

Looks good except for Monstrance. You should still take it at level 1 (and not higher)

Don’t bother with Lv.5 asperion. Just get Lv.17 from Pardoners

Just go by feel. Personally, I have 39 CON on my Inquisitor. It’s also going to depend a lot on your gears

You might want to look into this build though if u cant decide to go pala or monk.

Cleric c2> priest 1 > paladin 3 > monk 1 > inq

You can be a dps and support at the same time

for this i keep divided the two builds.

how they work together?

If you can get [conversion] mobs to work, it works well with MM.

If paladin

go cleric 2 and priest 1

Cleric 3 is kinda tempting after the buff, but monstrance is THE buff for dex build plus ress is nice to have.

Rank 7 filler I do love plague doctor for healing factor (has also hidden sinergy with restiration) or monk for double punch.

I do have PD (I think that healing factor is super powerfull, plus debuff immunities is kinda of safe for eventual next circles.

That sad, If you want to solo and game, monk is kinda must have.

Right now Im trying to finish my archer, still in doubt of what ALT to roll.

The options are c2p3o3 or monk. If I do roll monk, I will do the hipster build with druid2 (I dont suggest it since it’s really off meta and I think basically nobody as done it ;))

Conversion sucks. It doesn’t work on elite/special/boss mobs.

At rank 7 it’s already pretty bad because the mobs you can convert have ~8k hp while most other mobs have 100k+ hp. Your converted mobs will get obliterated when fighting any other mob in the map. And at rank 8 content you can’t even find mobs to convert anymore (only elite mobs in rank 8 maps). The skill becomes 100% useless since you can’t even change maps with converted mobs and bring them from other maps.

Waste of skill points. You can’t even use Change on mobs before Conversion because Change doesn’t work on Elite / Boss either.

I know. I know. That’s why “if” and “can work” are in the sentence. Joking aside, if IMC could just change it work on elite and special (and what ever else mob class they come up with in the future) that would be great. There are still no zoo builds that work in r8 content.

i’ve figure out that for me is better monk build b/c i would like to solo farm stuff on high lvl maps.

(like yellow caro, manahas elite, etc etc)

So i should just stick with c2diev1priest1monk-monkc2-oracle---->inqui. (for my purpose).

if anyone has better set-up, i still don’t rolled my cleric alt. so for few days i’m still open to suggestions.

in this build what stat should i get? should i go with dex?
