Nope, it’s an INTERNATIONAL CLOSED BETA TEST. You, that probably have english as native language, sadly don’t understand what’s written as i do.

I’ve seen many other topics written in different languages on this forum. I guess with such a large community it’s normal for people to speak in their native language when they’re not familiarized with English.
I just think that people should be more understanding, probably, he didn’t had the intention to attract non-portuguese speakers to the topic ^^

The reason for the bad reputation is not only in brazilians, but also in the intolerance of people. There’s nothing wrong with this topic because he (iK1NG) used 2 languages (english and portuguese) to convey the message. And since he is brazilian, there’s also nothing wrong with reply in portuguese. Just as he can translate with google, the topic readers can also do it too. I guess you should think more before you speak.

It’s sad to see people ranting because the guy wrote in portuguese or saying stuff like “Well deserved. It is the ENGLISH beta after all.”

This will be a global server, an international beta test. So it would be great if native english speakers could back their egos off and enjoy the game with the rest of the WORLD…

Well, whatever. I’ve got my key and will do my best to try to find bugs in the game.

Oh, man.

English =

America =

Deal with it.

Err… America is divided into 3 parts, and each part has its own language.

America is not only made by the U.S.A (and english countries)…

He don’t need to sentence this right.

Don’t be boring please.

@Kharash “Nope, it’s an INTERNATIONAL CLOSED BETA TEST. You, that probably have english as native language, sadly don’t understand what’s written as i do.”

Really? I find that funny, considering that all of IMC’s posts never mention the word “international”. Let me refer you to the wording that they have been using:

“We’d like to announce the first Beta Test for Tree of Savior (Eng. ver.)”
“Tree of Savior English ver. Beta Test will begin at 10:30 PM (EDT)”

Key word here is “English”, apparently I CAN read and understand.

-PS @Insone at no point did I mention that America = English, I was referring to the language.

Alright, eh, no.

Why are you flagging people’s posts? They’re right when they say it’s an english beta, Zealen just proved it. Plus, while this is in fact an international community, it’s completely against the point to post in a language only a tiny amount of people in said community can understand. You shouldn’t be speaking “in the language you’re most confortable with”, you should be speaking the language everyone agrees upon, which is english.

Plus, @kyesse was spot on. That’s exactly the kind of behavior that make us look like uncivilized people to the rest of the world. Putting it straight: there are a lot of euros here. They all have their main language, depending on the country they live, yet they aren’t speaking it everywhere. We have a lot of SEA players, which also have their own language, and still are doing their best to speak english, even if it’s clearly broken english. So, why do we think that we have the right to speak on our own language, and when people complain about it, we start to play the “it’s an international community” card?

Really, stop the trolling please. At this rate I won’t even be able to argue if they IP ban brazilians in the future. They won’t have to deal with posts in a language they can’t figure out at least.

EDIT:
Oh yeah, I would like to add some more:
Another problem is the amount of topics and posts we actually make in portuguese. If we make a thread for portuguese speakers and only post in portuguese there then I’m sure it would be fine. But that’s not what happens. We had recruitment posts in portuguese, we had game discussion in portuguese, we even have this post complaining about not getting in beta, which had no translation until the OP was asked to put some. I’ve seen some posts in portuguese inside threads which were fully written in english. Then people come here and say “well, you can just google translate”. Oh, really? Then why don’t YOU google translate what you just typed, and then post it, so you don’t force everyone who tries to understand your post to do so?

It’s not that I don’t understand this thread was made to portuguese-speaking players to begin with, it’s the way you all reacted to complaints that made it ridiculous.
