I feel you OP on the ping issue. I live about 700 miles from the Klaipeda server location and my ping does spikes randomly and sometimes I just outright get disconnected from the server randomly. I usually watch youtube or stream an anime or tv show while I sit in queue for missions and dungeons. The rubber banding starts and I get disconnected from the server randomly. I thought it was my internet connection. But what bothered me was Iāve had the same isp for the past 8 years and never encountered connection issues anywhere near to the degree Iāve seen in ToS.
I considered my interenet connection as a problem so I loaded up the mmo I was playing before ToS which was Wakfu. I loaded up 6 Wakfu clients since itās how I prefered to play when I was still active. So I get clients up form my party and play for about an hour and a half running dungeons while streaming a few episodes of Archer. In case youāre wondering how one goes about this its lots of alt tabbing between the clients on one monitor while the other has a stream up on the other. Iām a multitasker if you canāt tell :x
I ran into no problems with DCās or any issues related to connection during my hour and a half period of playing Wakfu and streaming a TV show. The interesting thing is the Wakfu server I was playing on is almost double the distance from me as the Klaipeda server. Yet Iām able to keep a solid connection with 6 clients to the Wakfu server while watching a stream with no connection problems. I realize theyāre different games so I would assume different amounts of data need to be sent to each games server and back to the gamesā client(s). Does this sound like an issue with my ISP or the Klaipeda server?
