In fact, cats are well-known familiars for witches on folklore, and witches are known to commute with demons and summon them, so not that out of character since sorcerer can be also taken as witch.

shapeshift and transform make sense (mostly bcuz u can only do it on animals)
but telpath would only make sense if u could only do it on animals
Sapper - Conceal => hide a trap for minutes, but stock stockade only last 20 seconds
conviction - x3 dmg on stunned enemy, but only way to stun as a cleric/paladin is by auto attacking
smite - does not stun ( i mean ur hitting them in the head with a hammer, why does it not stun?)

It makes no sense has split two skills that make almost the same, could fulfill its functions in a single skill, besides donāt have sense shapeshift lvl 5, with lvl 1 is more than enough.
The restriction āonly normal monstersā donāt have sense (999 normal monsters and none is useful) , it would be more logical the restriction for type of monsters (only type plants and animals)
In the case of ātelepathā is more logical allow control of the monster like a pet. Donāt have sense the restriction of movement while using the skill. Has more to do with a sadhu skill, no with the word ātelepathā
