I feel like this thread is asking for this, so here I go.
Helm Chopper - Barbarian
- Stun and short range guarantees it will never hit. Even if it hits, the stun is resisted 9 out of 10 times. Even spiritless monsters resist this stun more often than Mastema.
Seism - Barbarian
- Might as well just AFK than try to land this on anyone. The stun, just like Helm Chopper, never actually stuns anyone as it has the spirit penetration of a disabled gerbil.
Giant Swing - Barbarian
- Just doesn’t work. If you simply use this, it will 10/10 times just grab the pet of the other player, because IMC figured we’d never want to use this on players - so have fun spinning in place like an idiot and only disabling yourself.
Cross Guard - Highlander
- Look at this amazing little skill. 1200 block rate, with 0 STR investment even though it scales with STR. Guess what? Doesn’t do anything. Doesn’t block anything. Enjoy standing there as everyone hits you through it. Also if the stars align and baby Jesus’ ass was facing your house when he was born, when it works that one time, it roots someone. Oh wait, no, that root can be resisted.
Zucken - Doppelsoeldner
- Hit area so small you might as well try to shoot golf ball through a garden hose than actually get close enough to land this. Also it makes you stuck in place because, eh, why not?
I could go on but I think you get the point.
A lot of skills that are supposedly CC / Defensive and situational don’t actually do anything or work at all.
