If multiple linked mobs resist hangman’s knot debuff, your combo will fail. Is natural disadvantage of AoE ratio based build with linker.
Go to the spot with chicken and spider. They never resist. They are fire and ice, +% bonus damage from poison. Chicken is Large mob, does not get double HP when swollen. Will still double drop when swollen. Mobs are beast, easy to drain HP.
Grey, which build after wiz rework are you using? The elem3thauma3 build that we talked in another thread works pretty well as farmer and for DPS right?
I am still Wiz2-link2-thauma3-sage2. Elementalist3 Thauma3 is better for general-content due to high AoE, however a bit worse at farming. Without Linker, you need more damage (a better weapon) to kill swollen mobs. Swell body on mob doubles their HP. I will not recommend this build for HG340 if this is your first (farming) wizard.
I have that meta AA Cleric Krivis3 Chap Inq, so I think the general ele3 build can suit me, specially I think it might be fun and helpful on CM and ET. Never tried that.
Out of topic question, is that elem3 build considered DPS ? I am newbie specially on those terms and once I heard that only ancher and swordman trees can be called Dps
ele3 is red icon (DPS) , wizard is the best AOE DPS , for faming you need link and thau , hg 340 mobs with swell HP is 1000000 , i don’t think you can kill it without Link fast enough , i got 8400 Mattack cannot kill that mobs without link
11739 M. Attack sloww kill without sweeling mobs , i can kill faster with link + swell and faster farm items because i can use potato item with looting chance stats , (30 minute 20++items)
Are much looting point do you have? I think 20 items is a lot.
About ele3, do you think it is a more fun class and good for other things than farm?
Elementalist is for AoE. Cannot expect it to farm as well as specialized farming builds.
Linker + thauma = specialized wizard farming builds. Thaumathurge swell body doubles mob HP, and doubles their drops & silver. Linked mobs die faster because they share damage.

One more question about thauma after rework, how much does the skills scale with SPR? Os there a table or something that we can see how much SPR scale the skills?
Thanks. I changed to ktos version, maybe I got wrong but does thauma only give +x to your physical and magical attack? I mean, would it be that helpful as the attack skills are usually x% which scales much better so the thauma skills gives little help
my swell left give +2000 patk/matk which is the same as +21 350 primus weapon
Good point. But maybe in r10 that might be not as good as it is now , I mean , everything should be % so it scales without regarding the level of the content
% skill factor is based on your Magic attack. Thauma increase Magic Attack with buffs. If you level-up, you gain more stats. Can also get stats from gear. Higher stats -> higher thauma buff, so thauma will keep scaling.

i got 400++ looting , it is fast because double drop from swellbody , farming is not fun it is boring , other things than farming ,PvP ele3 is bad, WB bad too because boss destroy magic circle , ET good but not that great , fun to play for me is fast animation skill like shadow mancer, slow cast/animation is not fun
