Your most important stats are INT and SPR. WIth this build, damage is naturally high, so make sure your SPR is high enough to pay for the cost of all this during combat. After that, might as well run INT.
Meteor isnāt really love/life without wizard3 and quickcast.
Currently Iām also trying to figure out the best linker wizard build, but I guess I will just have to wait for the beta to start so I can test them in action.
These are my current builds, Iād probably play them in this order. True the pyro has superior aoe capabalities, but somehow I like the wizard build more. Quickcast with the magic damage boon is sweet and the Energy Bolt-Magic Missiles-Earthquake trio isnāt looking that bad either.
I didnāt give a viable explanation for my choice of Meteor. Here, let me explain the build-theory behind why it is important:
Ending the cretaceous period over someoneās head is awesome.

Meteor cast time = skill level
So I wonder how you use your max meteor 10s casting without wiz C3

The cretaceous period lasted 65 million years. You wait.

Okay, but in all seriousness, I made the build really fast late last night, and didnāt catch that cast-time problem. Thanks @Hiraeth for bringing it up.
I switched the points into Hail, because it has a large AoE and is a damage over time spell. This means you can stack damage from Hail and Prominence, with Rain on the field, while using your Cryo skills to keep targets immobile with freeze procs. Meanwhile, your Joint Penalty will keep the damage like communist Russia, where everyone gets an equal share. Rain and Joint Pain will boost Electrocute damage, when you have the chance to use it between cooldowns.
Did you already tried this build on your own in the previous betas?
Nope. Like basically everyone, I am theory-crafting. Any previous CBT builds, much like any calculations we make to make inferences about build viability, can only give us a snapshot of what is to come. It is important to asses both theory, and the previous experiences people have had in CBT. The classes have been tweaked, as have the sub-stats. Take everything you read with a grain of salt. We will only know how each build performs when CBT starts up this upcoming week.
Good videos to review:
Basic Elementalist
In the above video, a few skills are showcased.
Basic PVP Elementalist
In the above, youāll notice the player didnāt make the first mistake I made: they chose a lower level version of Meteor, so they could cast it faster and use it as complimentary damage to their other skills.
Full CON build, PVP
The above video shows how many of Elementalistās skills deal enough damage in PVP that INT is not entirely necessary, depending on your build, and how it stacks damage.
Take what you will from what Iāve posted. Changes were made, and will continue to be made, to the skills. I wish you luck in figuring out what you enjoy most, in your build.
Iāve been thinking abut electric linker, whatās your opinion about that?
