I will show my several 330 chars, orange 315 trans 9 and solmeme gear. Dont worry

@Zerotion
First, we would like to remind all users who are unable to access the server that their accounts have not been banned. We have temporarily locked accounts in order to complete follow-up procedures that may take some time.
We will release another announcement specifying the different types of restriction to be applied and the list of restricted accounts.
We haven’t published the list of banned accounts yet; that should be in our next official announcement after all the accounts are done processing. They are still being investigated at the moment.
Accounts which have circulated the obtained DPK irregular items through the Market or personal trade will be subject to restrictions.

NO. Did you read the announcement?

Those 2 quotes are direct quotes from staff in the thread about that news post. Tell the staff that they’re wrong, I quoted them, jeez. Don’t bite the head off of a person trying to simply provide further information that you had missed from within the other thread.

Thank you staff_amy.

that is the point, doesnt matter if they have circuled itens in the market, everyone got some advantage with this dpk whatever if they have selled or not, punish one just because they listed some of the itens in the market its completely unfair,if you guys do this, you should at least remove all the itens, dont let one of then in the blocked accounts…there is a lot of bb,purple hg itens, gems…a lot of itens extremelly hard to get,but those guys will continue with at least 1 one the droped itens

how are you making 3 mil in 2 hours? teach me your ways

Except, “what is an exploiter” ?
They’re only punishing the ones who exploited “fast”, the ones who resold things right away, made profit from it.
But what about the ones who didn’t have time to exploit ? What about the ones who used/kept the items for themselves ? IMC will only take back the items left in their inventory AND give them the compensation.
But these people intended to exploit, they just didn’t have the time or waited to do it later.
(Obviously IMC has no way to know who planned on exploiting or who didn’t… Well, when I see people who had hundreds of cubes, I think it’s rather safe to assume they were trying to exploit, but nothing can be proven anyway.)
They’re the big winners here.

Anyway, after all those exploits in the last year, I think the players have definitely learnt the lesson from IMC: exploit. Just exploit. But don’t make profit or don’t do it on a big scale. If you do, you’ll be banned. If you exploit softly though you’ll get a good compensation, and you might even be able to keep what you exploited.

I’m not against compensations nor am I saying “ban everybody currently blocked”, it’s just their logic of compensation is pretty stupid and on a totally different scale. They either give close to nothing (or nothing, it’s happened) or they give big compensations that make no sense.

I think you have to draw a line somewhere. And you can not expect that line to be perfect.

That line is being drawn at “we can’t read people’s minds”.

Those that sold stuff clearly exploited.

Those that did not, clearly did not. They got a bunch of stuff sure, but what sits in your inventory has not actually benefitted you until you actually do something with it. It’s logical to give these people the benefit of the doubt, because there’s simply no way to know which ones intended it, and which ones did not.

This approach will of course allow some that did intend it to get away, very lucky, however what it more importantly does is make sure that innocent people are not affected, which is more important here I believe.

At the end of the day they have to do something, and unless you’ve got a better suggestion, this honestly looks like the best possible approach. It avoids hurting innocent people while hurting those that are clearly not innocent. There will be those in the grey area, but, it’s grey. Those grey area people will slip up one day anyway. A cheater has to get away with something 100% of the time to avoid being banned. While the enforcers only have to catch them making a mistake once. Those that cheat always make an error at some point.

And on the extra++ side, this does actually mean we get rid of some of the worst members of the game. Silver lining right there.

wish i could trade you places. i’m addicted to enchant scrolls.

Farming lvl 320+ maps, soloing DGs, farming rare items, there are a lot of ways. I just don’t really farm that much, but if I want to I can get 3mil in that time.

EDIT:
You don’t really need to farm items that sell for a lot, there are items that sell for 20-30k that are easy to drop and you can get a lot in 1-2 hours, you just need to look at the market.

You got a point there but still I can’t agree with all of it, I know that there are many people blocked that got nothing but a handful of cubes, gems and 315 mats while doing their usual stuff but on the other hand you have a lot of high level players (geared players) filling all channels in HGs and Tenet Church, yea, I don’t know which server you play but here where I am, all channels were fully red, and I can’t believe they were just passing by getting items just to keep in their bags. Those players were obviously trying to profit and the fact that they didn’t (hello maintenance!!) doesn’t change anything imo. They still are exploiters and should not be rewarded.

Yeah this situation is really “good” for people who din’t exploit:
People still got 1 BB (8kk) + tons of “compensations” (worth 50+ U$)
The company are showing a really good message here:
“Always exploit if possible, you will get rewards for it”

Exactly, I looked at the tenet chuch and 315 HG channels around 1 hour before the maint on Silute server and they were all red full or almost full, usually there are always people farming there but the channels are always at ~15 members, 25-30 for the HG, not ~70, but I was just farming at a lvl 322 map and am also blocked, well I farmed ~30min at morning in the 315 HG before things went so bad, and saw something was off because I got ~20-30 cubes on that time. I didn’t get a single battle bracelet, got 1 random monster gem that I thought was a luck drop, and I got 9-11 mats that are used on the 2 prac weapons while farming on the high lvl maps.

Why are people being salty about this.
Players just did what they’re supposed to do in the game. Grinding, farming, leveling. There was no third party program, there were no complicated steps. We just simply played the game.
I kill at least 600 Lyoni everyday, some days even 1000 for what I need, and then one other day I was doing the same thing but happened to get 6 drop out of them.
What am I supposed to do? Discard them? The people who really “abused” this bug will be punished and have no compensation or whatever.

Do you think the compensation is unfair? How about 5 Mystical Cubes I have in 5 of my characters? 5 x 7 = 35 chances to get practonium. They gave us like 10+1, it’s all bout luck, there’s no guarantee you can get Rank A item out of 10 cubes. Not to mention the time I could use to get what I need. 7 days of missing Clover Event and by the time those accounts got unblocked, the maintenance compensation would be gone.

Are you guys blind? They stated they won’t give anything to people who severely abused the bug, with intent and knowledge.

Do you really think they’re handing out goodies to some guys who farmed 50 battle bracelets? Then distributed those around to alts, friends, market etc.?

#Nope.

Okay, what prevents to profit with this itens after?
Nothing.
XXXhundred of HgBox, crafted itens, materials, gems will all stay in the inventory.
Obviously very fair.
When u notice something unnusual like this DPK ISSUE u have to quit untill the problem end.
“I was just playing my commum day” it’s not an excuse.
U don’t need more reward for the time u’re not playing, u already have A LOT!
10/kills = 2~3 box with the issue
4.000/kills = 1 box without the issue.

isso se chama inveja apenas, eles não querem fica por baixo de alguem.

This is honestly the most well-reasoned answer I’ve read. The reaction on these forums blows my mind. It’s scary how such a large portion of ToS’ community doesn’t seem to have the mental capacity to understand this.

I won’t comment on the “reward”-issue, but I bet most people who cry “i quit because of this T_T” won’t quit or will be back soon.
I’m starting to think they don’t backup their database daily (maybe just weekly hence the weekly maintenance or bi-weekly)
I’m not sure if they actually can only do backups during maintenance, but if that’s the case : Would you rather have them do a daily maintenance and have the servers down every day? :stuck_out_tongue:

Most people probably only read the rewards part, without taking note who actually will get these compensation items and who doesn’t, that would require text comprehension and paying attention. And now they think everyone who benefitted from this bug/exploit will get the rewards, regardless of how severe or bad their exploits were.

“The reaction on these forums blows my mind.”
“a large portion of ToS’ community doesn’t seem to have the mental capacity to understand this.”

For real?
Tell me about your inventory…
You do benefit from this, thats why you defend the point. That is reasonable. That is OK.
But don’t tell that ppl are stupid because they disagree. Blows your mind? C’on.

Everyone that >> didn’t <<< got the inventory full of rare drops will be
at a disadvantageous position compared to those that >> did <<.
This is undeniable fact.
