Latin American Server is necessary

By your logic why SEA players can’t play on Korea servers? why they need an exclusive server? pff nonsense

I see a lot of people saying there is no need for a server to Brazilians, as the level up has partner. SEA has at least 4 servers for the region and yet they won in 1 steam. why do not we, if we are a larger audience?

i agree with this,
even unofficially i think LA players should just go to orsha.
and clear klaipeda server.

but for after EA, im sure IMC will make alot of new servers for f2p

The issue here is the language barrier between Brazilians and the Spanish speaking LA.

Only Brazilians speaks portuguese, the rest of latam (90%+) speaks in spanish, it has nothing to do with hate or anything like that.

Thats why the Level up thing doesn’t help us at all because is a BR server and we cant understand nor speak in portuguese.

Besides we have like ~150 ping in the NA servers so is not that bad.

PD: sry if im being redundant.

thank you for understanding. I do not know if you are also Brazilian, but my English is horrible.

Mupy, do you agree they would create another problem anyway?

Many players (not from LA) came to orsha because of the queues yesterday on klaipeda. Most of them didn’t want to, but ended doing it.

Now IMC will have a big problem either way. Lets imagine 2 situations:

  • Create new LA server: have to transfer players from klaipeda and orsha. Orsha will lose a big part of it’s population, which may be a big problem depending on how much it means.

  • Label Orsha as the LA server: have to transfer players from klaipeda to orsha. Have to transfer non-LA players from Orsha to other servers.

Pls IMC, think about this.

its a korean game so they can do whatever they want. internationally they dont give a f.

if there’s enough people from LA there will probably be a server there on f2p.
to imc i dont think it makes sense to them to make 2 servers on a smaller continent, however. maybe 1 in mexico?..probably not.
where would they put it?

Hello!

IMC we need a LA server, please do it!

Brazil loves your job <3

“its a korean game so the can do whatever they want.” so why the hell are you here arguing what they want or gonna do?

But the transfer will take place already for the new servers. If the IMC is already giving this possibility because it would be a problem?

I’m from brazil and I’m not playing the game yet (i was in the icbt2, though). Honestly, i don’t see a problem with @Mupy_brTOS 's suggestion, but I also can’t see the reason not to open an official Brazillian and/or Latin American server on Steam since we are by large the biggest community in this game.

The IMC and LevelUP partnership is mainly about being able to buy TP in Reais instead of US dollars, and I personally think that’s the only appeal the levelup server is gonna have with brazillian people. Everyone who can afford to pay in US dollars will prefer the Steam servers, I guess, since the service is, overall, much better - or at least it’s gonna be, IF or WHEN you open a dedicated brazillian/LA server.

Those non-LA players would complain a lot if IMC labeled Orsha as official LA server, I believe. This is unless they allowed those guys to transfer right now. But then other players would complain about not being allowed to transfer at this moment (EU for example), and…

well, not important. I would pay for a LA server.

A Latin America server in São Paulo, Brazil or Santiago,Chile maybe?

Amazon EC2 sa-east 1 gives 50 ms for me,in Brazil

Steam already allows us to pay in BRL (BR currency).

I truly believe it’s about the contract they have with LUG, as AWS has SA servers only in Brazil. Maybe they will be allowed to after LUG launches it’s server.

It would be VERY important to have an official word on this, an honest word.

I didnt express myself right: the point in ther partnership, as I see it, is to make easier for Brazillian players to acquire TP by using the local currency as well as accepting another forms of payment, like bank transfers, paying bills and such. They also mentioned they’ll try to come out with better prices in the LUG server. I mean, most players are teenagers with no acces to a Credit Card (let alone an international one, or to plenty of money to expend in online gaming)- I think they’re gonna be the main public on the LUG server.
Of course, that’s only my opinion though. Anyway, I’m waiting to see what’s gonna be of the Brazillian community before starting to play, I hope we can come to a good arrangement.

More game, less LAG!

Necessary server Latin.

Hello , I am also in Brazil and support the idea of creating a server for the Brazilian community in the Steam and if possible in a place where the ping of Brazilian players can be better.

Uh… This will likely be the server you are calling form. GL getting on for international. Tbh with that game launching I was highly surprised to not see a standard region lock for International.

And you do not understand my comment.
The point is that they showed to everyone that they are being able to open local server, why not opening a LA server if it’s going to be alot better for LA community?
