When did you measure the population?
What time of the day? You posted that 3 hours ago, which was ~5 am in the morning in east NA.
If you posted that right after taking that screenshot then you took the screenshot when it was ~5am in the morning in east NA, right? I don’t really think that should count then. Do it again during peak hours.

I didn’t defend the game in my post. I pointed out that the time of measurement might be suboptimal for finding out whether the server is “dead” or not. That has nothing to do “with defending the game”.
The time on the screenshot can not be trusted. For example Fedimian, which is located in Frankfurt, says ingame that it’s 9:54 am, which is not true. It’s 3:54 pm in germany.
Well, if it is Klaipedia, then that will be eastern time in the US. The only thing we don’t know is what day it is on. Don’t know if it is a weekday or on the weekend. Nevertheless, all that doesn’t matter. Again I am satisfied with the current size of Klaipedia, I don’t want it to get too big and crowded.
So? No one wants to pvp here? My point?

They could’ve improved the war declaration system, instead of stuffing “Neutrality” button.
Example: Average guild members level. If the level difference between two guilds is above 50-100? levels, a war could not be declared.
Well, the definition of pvp unfortunately varies. Some communities/games consider “pvp” to include ganking/pking, many others don’t. Personally, i dont. Reason:
Pvp, aka player versus player. versus implies that both parties fight eachother. Keyword eachother, not one pommeling the other while the other has no interest in the “versus” or poses no challenge. In the case of one you should use the more appropiate term “PKing” or “ganking”.

Sure, they could’ve done that. Neutrality way probably just the easier and more faster to implement idea. I’m not saying neutrality was the best thing they could’ve done.

Stating the obvious is defending the game in his eyes. But yeah, not sure why someone is measuring usage at 5 AM in the morning when a huge majority people are obviously asleep because of the timezones. Sneaky OP.
In any case, a large chunk of people are most likely waiting for Battle League to respark their kindle, and that pesky party bug (Not sure why the devs don’t simply change the entire command to warp instead of drag if close enough for now), among other things.
I don’t agree with this. Current system is fine. Players should have a choice on if they want to PVP or not. I am not a pvp player and I shouldn’t be forced to pvp. This is like FF14 again where only the special free companies can own a house and enjoy the content that is suppose to be meant for everyone.
Not bad actually. Games like FFXIV could only hold 5k max on a server at a time and didnt usually hit half that number per server. Hard to find good examples since most mmos keep that secret, but i think tera is the same too.

IMC neglected the international player for the past 3-4 months as far as content/events. No PvP, GvG, new class or anything remotely close comparing to the Korean server. Scavenger Hunt is too little too late. This game is on life support and soon no one will play this game anymore. I’v already moved on and I’m sure more will follow soon.

So you’re saying the displayed server time on Klaipedia is accurate? Do you play on Klaipedia? Or did you only convert 7:30pm to your timezone?
Just asking, because as i’ve said : on servers like Fedimian the displayed server times are not accurate and do not represent the servers location at all, thus server time timestamps on screenshots with should not be trusted unless it’s proven that the server times of that particular server are actually accurate.
I wouldn’t say dead. Just how it’s always been.
This game has a population of about 14k across 4 regions.
Based on their last ban update, they got rid of 4000 bots. So 10k players.
Now NA and EU have a lesser population than the other servers.
So 2k NA. 2k EU. 3k for SA and SEA.
About 75% play on klaipadia. So 1500.
Peak population on Klaip was probably around 6,000 based on their 25% retention rates.
These were my assumptions anyways. Glad to see some numbers to back it
Kind of sad when you realize that your game can’t host 6,000 players or the server dies. Don’t know how they expect to make money unless they start staff cutbacks.
At the end of this month we’ll get the kTOS dev branch and thus will also get the new classes as soon or very close to the date korea gets them. Any other developments in the future we’ll also get, since from the end of this month on we’ll share the same development branch as korea.
Funny how you say soon no one will play this game anymore. Can you see into the future?
