Kinos and Cryomancer need a huge nerf at pvp

Just nerf them, their cc are ridiculous.;

in my last 10 game hers how t went:

magnetic force>raise> op archer 1 shot, or op wiz 1 shot skill

also pretty much 75% of the archer skills ( the entire archer tree) need a massive dmg nerf in pvp.
the archer skill that binds u for 10 seconds, imc who balances the classes? u give archer, a class that litterally almost off of his/her skils can one shot, a 10 sec cc and theyre ranged.

hnestly swords and cleric are the most balanced imo, but sometimes they can get annoying too (pretty much only cata and corsair/squire when i say that)

Cyro / Kino pretty much has no dps despite requires 3 circles to make them most effective. Whereas archer can be happy 1 circle killer.

cryo/kino also has 100% uptime on cc (even with a PD) , so yes that means for an entire match you can be cc just by the work of 1 cryo/kino.

To be fair, cyro/kino is the PvP class and while you’re mostly at a disadvantage fighting one, it is a team battle so anything can happen (especially with the random party matching) so it’s not like it’s going to be a 100% loss against them. Wugu poison kills so fast I don’t even get to antidote.

Since everyone is spamming skills and the fps drops, you’re probably getting hit by everything. I doubt balance will come anytime soon because IMC is up to their neck is exploits, bug fixes and more TP shop items to deal with first.

For me, PVP is just fun, rankings don’t mean much when there are plenty of cheaters out there. There’s no way to balance the battle with just a team of 5, unless everyone is the exact same rank and class.

Most memorable death - I got run down by a swarm of bats…and 4/5 of my team dying to one meteor shot.

Let’s just have PVP with our bare hands and 1000 hp, then no class is better than the other.

I believe one thing that really helps mages - specially CC mages - a lot on pvp is the fact all your cooldowns reset at the next round. I mean, mages have high cooldowns, but this means nothing if every new round you have all of them reseted and can just overload the enemy with tons of CC. Maybe changing the cooldown reset for next round or disabling this we could see something other than cryokinos roflstomping people and warlocks bodying enemies to death.

In idToS, for Cryomancer, you can bring and use Dispeller on TBL(I think in kToS you can use it too, CMIIW, dunno it’s a bug or not, it’s been since the first launch of TBL here) so it can counter the Freeze CC if you are rich enough to spam the Dispeller just for TBL and Cryo will become useless. But some of Kino’s magic can’t be dispell like Magnetic Force or Raise or Gravity Pole.

So if you can’t use Dispeller on TBL and meet CryoKino, then you will deal with the Ice Wall + Physic Pressure and then RIP.

In TBL you can’t use dispeller, which means you getting CC’d to death by cryokinos.

It is kind of amusing how everyone sees another class as imbalanced in PvP. Honestly I dont think that the main problems are specific classes, however the matchmaking system is a joke. I had the pleasure to had a match with 5 clerics against a group with no clerics.

Almost everything can be countered. Prophecy from oracel has a 100% uptime against cryos freeze, counterspell can disabel kynos cc. Rank 8 Also brings a lot of skill to disabel cc skills from kyno. And as already mentioned, those are non dps classes.

If cryo/ kino needs a nerf than so do, dievs (ausrine), cataphracts (trott), every archer class with a high attack speed (renders you immobile), hunters (pet cc), necro/ sorc (pets dont get downscaled), wugushi (poison/antidote), every ranged class after they implemented block pen, oracle (prophecy), wizard (sleep), corsair (hook) etc. This list could be endless, cause almost every class has this one skill that can do a lot of damage/cc/whatever in PvP. And there is always that one class that is vulnerable against it.

Not only has every class their benefits, but also a lot of times you lose against a “stronger” team it is 50% bad matchmaking luck and 50% nonexistend teamplay.
I rarely see priests use resurrect in tbl, peaople rushing the other team eventhough they know that there is a kabbalist or diev in the group. Players dont wait to get revive or prophecy buff.

So I don’t really see a reason to nerf cryo/kino but more of a reason to balance the matchmaking system. It is bad to blame specific classes/ builds that where specifically leveld for PvP and ignore the fact that almost every skill can be countered.

If that happens we can just create a tbl where everyone has to join with the exact same build, only way to balance PvP with the current system. Just take away everyones build and just send them in TBL without anything but Autoattack… pretty sure then some people will complain that the other team uses higher pots or whatever.

Why, if it is a build created for PvP then let them be better in PvP then non PvP build. Kinda like a Support char complaining about dealing lesser dmg then a dps char.
