Pay to Win concept is changing. You can see that devs are concerned about being labeled as Pay to Win. They trick people to think that their game is not pay to win by making all stuff adquirable in game… Some games have a time wall so big that people fell like tossing some money in to get something faster, altough they’re not being forced to do that. By doing that, the devs make free to play players somewhat happy and people who like to spend a lot of money happy too. Tree of savior is in that line of thinking. It is a good adaptation for today’s mmo. Personally, I like this idea if the time wall is not that big. For ToS, though, the wall is big if you are not here from the begining.
Except no one is happy lol.

Yep. Some will quit, some will stay, some will pay.
I don’t think a lot of people will quit though. Even though it is slightly Pay to Win. You can still earn TP from GvG battleground.
Rather than the boxes, shouldn’t we be more worried about the announcement of their mobile version. The reason whiteknights gave for IMC not fixing any bugs was that it took a lot of time and they had a small team.
So now we got resources first headed towards wolfknights, and then some more headed towards this mobile version. What is left for us? 1 guy? And this is from a game that is being released over bits and pieces?
