There is literaly no PvE in ToS now. You can solo clear any regular map with any character.

Archers and Wizards are actually faster than cleric builds (other than PD, which is about same level as Archer and Wizard, i think PD needs a nerf)
and every ET perty needs a cleric ofc bcuz its the only class able to heal lol, if every class could heal cleric wouldnt be needed
and pvp isnt really worth nerfing Every single cleric class in both PvE and PvP just because ONE skill can wreck everyone lol.
most clerics are actually pretty balanced in every part of the game, oracle, kabba, paladin and krivis are just really underwhelming in everything (except for pvp which doesnt give any valuable rewards other than panda which is not worth it imo)
but theres not really any content where archers, wizards and swordies feel weak either, they all have strong damage and bring role to the party, archers can use appraiser to boost your weapon, swordies have super high health to tank even on a dps build and wizards can cc no matter what build and has strong support skills (imo more desirable than any cleric).
actually, pvp is probably the worst game mode that this game has to offer nowâŠ
for the most part, weâre only talking about a change in meta because clerics werenât always the most powerful in pvp⊠when tbl was first released, wizards were the most powerful⊠everyone complained about how op the cc and magic damage mostly because we canât blocked them⊠wizards in pvp were so strong at that time, they could just go full con, equip animus and almost steamroll everyone elseâŠ
Of course, a lot of things changed since then but weâre still basically complaining and talking about the same thing⊠instead of wizards, itâs clerics now.
this is why pvp being the only thing that matters is trivial at best because they didnât really balance pvp⊠they just changed or shifted the meta with one class to another classâŠ
Oracle is 3 ranks and 11 skills. You quoted 2 skills that are good (really good).
Twist Of Fate can be good but thatâs still rather situational. It needs a party to work truly together, which I think is great, but it doesnât make Oracle 3 worth taking over something else.
Resetting and change are fun and all, but theyâre not that useful in fights, just for farming some specific things.
And thatâs still only 5 skills worth out of 11.
Paladin can lower MDEF, elemental resistance, nullify attack, and buff the partyâs elemental damages, and they have Barrier. Restoration has its utility, the DPS is decent although not good, TU can os groups of mobs. Thatâs not too bad out of only 7 skills.
And thatâs still better than an Oracle who only has Counterspell and Prophecy as true utilities. Change and Resetting are for the fun. With Resettingâs cd, itâs not a reliable source of farming except on some rare mobs (for Manahas set, BB).

Youâre also taking this topic out of context, which is pretty ironic.
Nobodyâs saying they want Clerics to be OP in PvE. People are just saying that IMC made some Cleric classes bad for what theyâre supposed to be.
Kabbalist is OP in PvP, but Kabbalist is a support class originally. What support does it offer in PvE ?
Pardoner is basically just a shop class. Krivis has a couple useful skills, but thatâs it.
A few cleric classes are completely overshadowed because of how little utility they have, especially compared to other classes.
A Cleric basically only needs Heal 2 and Priest 1 if they want to support bigger contents, which is wrong. And while itâs partially due to how the game works, itâs also due to the fact other support/defensive classes donât have much to bring.
Iâll never get why they mobs went from âtoo OP for soloâ to âSo easy my chrono can solo everythingâ but whatever.
Also most people only play PvE, not PvP at all. So the âonly PvP mattersâ argument makes no sense. Even more seeing how unabalanced and boring it is.

Have you guys ever heard about class specialization? You want every cleric class to be able to do everything. That would never happen.
Oracle is for rare items farm (mahanas set for example) and circle 3 for the shop. Itâs more than enough. Oracle circle1 is also absolutely broken in pvp.
Krivis is nerfed to death? Well, itâs payback for being one of the main meta char before. Melstis is still pretty broken though, 35sec Makala is insane. There are also many other sweet Melstis combos - try to explore the tree a bit deeper.
Diev? Absolutely ultra broken in pvp.
The only underwhelming cleric we have is Paladin, true. Trashcan it was, trashcan it is. All other clerics have extra strong sides in different game aspects.
And yet again, try and explain me, what PvE in tos is. In a game where you can 1-330 any character in 5-6 ours without investing in any stats or skills. What is that PvE most people playing in.
But in fact Iâm just shocked that cleric players have a nerve to complain. Itâs like WAAAAT?!?!?
Well I must admit, I am quite ashamed that I could never manage to get a character to 330 in just 5-6 hours despite availing of all the EXP events.

IMC, on Krivis:
There is literally no reason to pick up a Krivis since 3 of their 4 useful spells(Melstis, Daino, Aukuras, Zalciai) are scrollable. Especially on builds that take one rank of Krivi for itsâ utility.
Zaibas getting gutted means that Krivi as a damage dealer gets gutted too, not to add that their main damaging skill doesnât even track enemies consistently.
Edit: I find Kriviâs utility good to say the least, but the fact that most of that utility can easily be duplicated by Pardoners is something that should be addressed, similar to Barrier pre-patch.
Melstis isnt scrollable, you need 15 zalcai + attribute + spr to make zalcai scale better (+~2000 crit atk, -150 crit res), aukuras is decent when scrolled at lvl 1 (-30% accuracy) but better at 15 (-70% accuracy), daino is decent when scrolled.
Miswording on my behalf. I was pointing it out that out of 4 of Krivisâdecent spells, three of them are scrollable.
Actually Krivis was buffed and is now back to the table. 20 seconds CD on a 19 hits&2 overheats skill with 2x damage during Storm Calling is more than decent[ The lightning bolts of Zaibas are also coming down faster (twice as fast), making it easier for you to get all hits in even with low levels of Storm Calling].
Thatâs ± 3100-4300%x2 every 24 seconds, and if you throw in a Sadhu C3 you get additional damage based on your minimum magic attack on top(i.e. 1300-1800% additional damage per Zaibas) . With Melstis,youâll hardly run out of Transmit Prana(problematic,though, because of the lack of Divine Might). You also got a decent boost on matk due to Divine Stigma.
wouldnât running C2 Krivis2 in a Sadhu3 Taoist package be a better option instead? Lose 4 levels of zaibas (8hits of zaibas), some divine stigma levels and meletis but gain Divine Might, 10 tiles of heal and a better safety zone.

the problem is the absence of Melstis in the build, meaning your Transmit Prana will have a longer off-time. You will also lose some damage on Zaibas (not that itâs bad,though) and possibly even some levels on Aukuras.
The better Safety Zone would be nice, but as long as your Team Members arenât idiots and you utilize your Dark Sight Talisman efficiently, you can actually live with less hits.
Heal 10 isnât really needed anyway, people can just use potions and the new +10% Potion Recovery Cards, and if you got some CON at your hand(e.g. Lionhead Shield,Max Petamion, 60 base CON, 3x 10* Blut cards to reach around 150 total CON), you can easily be self-sufficient with Heal 5/6 + Praktiri(as the attributes effect is subject to the CON recovery addition, possibly even to the Potion Recovery boost of the cards).
