Is this build legit? (wiz c1>cyro c1>link c2> thau c1>chrono c2)

Hello!

I’ve been following this game for a long time but quite new at actually playing it. I’ve been reading lots of stuff regarding classes and game mechanics even though I’m still confused about a lot of this I put together this build and would like some comments on it, my aim is something like a redmage class from ff series (can we mention other game names?).
I’ve already picked cyro for my first class advancement so can’t change that.
Also about stats I’ve been going 4con:1spr so far (although I’ve spent like 5 points in int due to reasons :stuck_out_tongue:).

So, TL;DR is this build legit?

It is not legit, you have too many different classes. For example Thau 1 offers too little and you will have to recast his buffs constantly, leaving less time for other skills.

Also Not going Chrono C3 is a huge waste, his best skill pass is in C3.

One more or less popular build is W>Cryo>Link2>Chrono 3

No.

For a support mage, you mostly go for one of these:

Wiz > Cryo 3 > Chrono 3 (ideal)
Wiz > Cryo 3 > Kino 3 (pvp focused)

But you could also do other combinations depending on your team if you have a static one (or the class just suits your taste more).

Linker 1/2 (+ Optional Sorc1) -> AoE-Impaired e.g. Musketeers
Linker 2 + Chrono3 -> Quarrel Shooter
Linker 2 -> Plague Doctor
Linker 3 -> pre-planned builds e.g. archer with a dex build + sword with a str build
Cryo 2/3 + Rune -> Kino and Monk
Cryo 2/3 + Kino 1/2/3 + Rune -> Gives you burst
Thauma 1/2 -> Multi-hitters
Thauma 3 -> Magic Multi-hitters

Guess i’ll eighter go for W>Cryo>Link2>Chrono 3 or Wiz > Cryo 3 > Chrono 3 (ideal) since i wanna go for pve.

Just one thing I’m wondering, @nstenko1991 when you say not popular, is it not popular coz its bad or its hard to level or such?

It is not so popular because Cryo 3 is easier to level up and overall more useful with its CC.

Link 2 build is oriented to support auto attackers like archers, with chrono speed up, so it is more situational.
