I actually have no information on the topic, I’m just wishing :]
Well what you’re saying makes sense, and I agree with that sitation. The OP didnt give any detail, other than “controlling 2 charactes at once” which sounds like he wants to multibox macro.
i have a total of 6-7 devices at home capable of running the game. I could legally create 6-7 steam accounts and log each of them on a separate device…
And I’m sure people will do that. I just wish they wouldn’t.
Sry i don’t know how to multibox in the video(i see in my facebook group that y i cant post the link)
i think it may be
- use some software to open multiple steam in 1 computer
- 2 computer with hardware(physical connect to 2 computer) that can control all of them at same
- use the soft ware that you can control 2 computer at same time

What a useless ghetto setup in those photos. Invest in some useful hardware instead of multi-mice/multi-numpads
sry i cap from facebook video
Multiboxing is allowed. u can read ToS and even send a Support ticket with the question and It will say Yes it’s allowed. I have buddies that do it and they said that themselves and showed me SS’s
Nope…they allow it as long as it’s you sitting and playing the game. And from what I can tell broadcasting with software is fine as well since it does not interact with the game client.
And
As an example that was stated in the WoW thread, if you had a wireless keyboard or a KVM switch that sent commands from the keyboard to separate machines, the devs would have ZERO way of detecting it, and it would hardly give you any more advantage over a team of two people doing what you were doing anyway…there simply is no inherent advantage other than doing 2 peoples work at the same time.
And as it doesn’t require 3rd party software to work (a cloned wireless adapter), it’s not violating any 3rd party software rules either…
Pay attention to no one in this thread unless its someone from IMC. They are probably the only ones that can give you a legitimate answer. Everyone else has a shred of doubt and are not 100% sure.
It’s your legit steam accounts, your own hardwares, your own electricity bills. As long as no 3rd party software is being use I don’t see why it’s illegal.
But tbh if one is really multiboxing, why let the entire community know?
For attention much?
eh no wow doesnt allow it … get up to date lol.
Blizzard does not ban multiboxing, it is common sight to see 4-5 druids, shaman or whatever other combo, even saw one with 30+ shaman dropping all 120 totems plus elemental pets and non-combat pets to abuse the phasing system in place.
