Compare to the other class, I donât think SR has long CD.
But still, the only useful skill is RS. And that is BS
Limacon is pretty good as filler skill or even âmainâ skill if you have quicken/links. Marching Fire does decent damage but yeah, it needs attribute and more targets IMO, Concentrated Fire is good but needs AoE ratio, Wild Shot is a decent filler skill but needs AoE ratio. Then you still have your Ranger c3 skills and etc, no build relies only on a single class/rank skills to be a DPS.
My point for SR needing better cooldowns is because you have 20s downtime of no AoE at all if you use retreat shot then marching fire (despite being âthe AoE classâ) and even during your AoE skill you almost canât use other skills, so youâre limited to a single source of damage compared to almost all other classes.
If I could I would reduce Retreat Shot to 35s cooldown instead of 40s and Marching Fire to 40s-50s instead of 60s with 2*Lv.Skill targets and attribute. Concentrated Fire to 25s to match Wild Shot cooldown.
I hope IMC do these changes once they change Melstis mechanics. It is too easy to waste Marching Fire or Retreat Shot and waste 1min/40s cooldowns because a knockback or random thing.

I also love Limacon, but I donât see people in some videos about SR use it much, because when you are fully use everything you got, you have no spare time for limacon.
Most people are like: Steady Aim-> retreat shot-> marching fire-> concentrate fire->Barrage->Multishot-> repeat. of course, sometimes they use Limacon for some shot, but I think that They thought their skill hadnât done CD yet.
Limacon is good in my opinion, itâs useful when you want to farm low HP mobs for materials. Itâs useful for kiting. Even if you are oneshotted by the mob, you can kite it to death, but it would take time.
Iâm enjoying SR too, but in the appearance only, not in general. I mean, It looks cool right XD
you can use limacon when you are retreat shotting for double proc damage.
this is how you maximize damage on SR.
Limacon + Retreat shot on glass mole + steady aim
On Cd just fill in the rest of the skill then go back to limacon when you are down on CD ( if solo case you will be at least shooting limacon for 5-7 seconds) before retreats get up. so you can double burst cycle it again.

Yeah, always. I love Limacon so much that, I maxed Limacon first.
Now I still donât have money for the other skills XD
and you should: Swift step(for crit rate)- limacon-> Steady AIm-Retreat Shot(While using glassmole). If you use retreat shot before using steady aim, you will lose a lot of damage. 2 sec damage
pretty much you only need lima + retreat at max.
The rest is fine sitting on 70.
meltis fix most of them in party set up lel. Any way that was not a sequence.

That dagger, you might donât even need it, just use the shield instead.2 sockets
the shield doesnât increase attack or give additional property damage,though <_<
And is quite useless, given the low propability to Block attacks without Stone Skin buff.
I rather take 500-1200 damage hits than being so weak that my skills canât kill the monsters âŚ
really? i think lionhead shield is a nice upgrade from didel tower shield, socketed with 2 lv 6+ red gem

Wiz use other dagger.
Most swordman use 2hand sword or pike. Or smt with shield

what benefit that dagger brings to you to anyway. some damage? Just use 2 hand weapon instead. Crit rate?
