As a person that knows coding myself I’d love to know your reasoning on this. (Because what you’re saying makes no sense at all.)
channel based DPK. Some are RNG and some are DPK. I’vd noticed few old mobs have dropped gems in RNG fashion after this patch. I literally get 30-34 lvl 2 gems in 1 hr which wasn’t happening anywhere near before and I have 60k kills on it.
What I’ve noticed: DPK based white recipes can be dropped by silver/gold mobs and will not reset DPK value in that channel.
Don’t bother. He just knows nothing about polymorphism. For those who want to know, it’s basically a way to make 2 different kinds of a thing (in this case a drop) behave in different ways which is exactly what is happening here.
@xxwintersnowxx you are most welcome to test with glyquares at roxona east and check how glyquare cores are RNG but yellow gems aren’t. Now that people barely care about dullahan you won’t be bothered. Take any other example if you want, but it’s already been done and the results showed that it is a thing

Again you have to be careful, some items are dpk and others rng. I know you dont want to believe but men, i can tell you, i spent one week alone in a a chanel of Kalejima and the fragments always drops 10 Maidens after the recipe.
