iOBT - any infromation?

Not at all , i talking about the mmorpg games as all.it not the older players any more and the older players not necessary the bigest grup. I basevit on other mmos i played, from ro to ff 14. This is a thing i realy want to be wrong on.

For games like these that aren’t target-marketed at kids, monetary-wise, adults will make up most of the revenue. Everyone is needed of course regardless of their age since a completely F2P player will still help keep the server populated, but most of the income will be coming from the working-majority. The chance of a kid being a ā€˜Whale’ (And a few hundred dollars spent in a year does not make someone a Whale in an MMORPG) is slim to none here.

ok if you say so:)…

Sixaxis ^^

is always right!

I don’t think either of them are qualified. Who here has seen metrics of a F2P games age groups that are international–since different regions of the world look at older gamers differently–and anything with similar history and play to ToS.

you have a really good point here. hope IMC will have a good understanding of international region.

Students don’t necessarily refer to kids, as some people have been quick to point out. There’s plenty of gamers who go to college and some who are well into adult age who choose to go back to school to learn more stuff. School isn’t just for kids. MMORPG demographics can cover a huge range of people regardless of age group.

The average gamer is roughly 20-30 years old. If you take all the people who played RO back in the day and coming back to play ToS, they are going to be in that age group.

We can’t say all the players here played RO.
I know of 5 that didn’t nplay ro and if the game be good they will play.

Exactly, im 2.6, almost 2.7, in march

Well I never said everyone played RO. Just the people who did would still be a lot. Regardless, most people are going to be in the 20-30 age group, and just looking at that age thread, it’s pretty accurate.

am i the only one here who doesn’t trust the release date on mmorpg.com or whatever that site was called?

Well, I think it’s pretty obvious that the older players spend more money.

Does kids work? No.
Of course there are some younger whales, with rich parents who spend tons of money, but that’s the minority.
In every game I’ve played, not only MMORPG, I made a lot of friends and the olders have always had more items from the cash shop
