I concur, it is extremely annoying. Posted in the bot report forum yesterday and got the SOP reply. Let’s see how IMC plan to tackle this. It wun be long until all the bots are updated to this new way of advertising since accounts are free to create now.

Presumably we only have 1 ‘blank’ character and a character limit of 20 characters for team name, we can have a max of 20 of these bots. But if the font file has N ‘blank’ characters/glyphs, we will be looking at 20^N potential unblockable bots. Good luck IMC.

IMC’s solution will probably be to just make it so new whispers don’t mess with your chat box then pat themselves on the back for having solved the problem.

Seriously, IMC has never had a good idea when it comes to things like this. Unless IMC hires some skilled staff members who are experts in this field we will never see a good solution.
