Although IMC can do nothing about the communities beyond the tree of savior game and forum, in other online communities is very known people whose have intentionally exploited and got the rewards. It was a very hard decision, because the company had suspended accounts of those who did not bad, but rewarding people who did not but exploit, and leaving some with DPK Bug items you harm everyone who did not exploited, having choice or not.
It would be very naive to think that the only ones who traded items were the ones with intention to harm; as you can’t punish acts or prove intentions, nothing else to do; but i hope this serve as experience for future things changes.
A rollback would cost much less for everyone.
Made me think why i have come back

From now on i will make sure to abuse any bug as much as possible so i can get those sweet rewards instead of crap they give out for honest people

Those threads are necessary, IMCs decision right now will change how gamers perceive their game. IF YOU LOVE THE GAME YOU DONT WANT TO HAVE PLAYERS PROBLEMS LIKE IT DID BEFORE COMBAT RENEWAL.

I’d be receiving the reward too as I was never suspended and never took part of the exploit, but that’s no matter.
The logic you copied from my post was meant only for suspended accounts. They have separated the cases in three different categories in this announcement: https://treeofsavior.com/page/news/view.php?n=1010 yet they unwittingly made a 4th one which resides the exploiters who kept their items and received the compesation.
It is indeed a shame that IMC investigated the suspect accounts with their asses. Thank you for tagging me, but do remember that even if your assumption turned out to be the correct one it did not solve the problem.

This crap is why many of us pushed for a simple roll back in the first place, now it’s a giant clusterfuck. Oh sure game won’t die but it become just another hit in the long list of TOS negative reputation. Besides bugs and crashes and no endgame TOS is now also a game that rewards exploiters!
